ICE is a French bilingual school in Dubai, on Meydan Street in Nad Al Sheba, next to the Meydan Hotel; in the registers it goes as Bilingual French International School, while it signs itself Lycee Francais Bilingue International ICE. It runs the French national curriculum with the recognition of the French ministry of national education and belongs to the network of the agency for French education abroad. Teaching is in two languages at once, French and English, from the age of three to graduation: a kindergarten of three sections, a primary school from CP to CM2, a college from the sixth to the third year of the French count and a lycee from the second year to the terminale. Arabic follows the local rules, with an extended course for native speakers, and as home languages the school offers Spanish and Chinese. It names its methods outright: Singapore mathematics, reading by Borel-Maisonny, natural sciences by "La main a la pate". After the tenth grade the route forks: the French international baccalaureate BFI with an American section, where advanced English and history with geography are taught jointly by French and American teachers, or the Diploma Programme of the International Baccalaureate. The timetable after lessons, from 15:35 to 16:35, holds ballet, basketball, gymnastics, hip-hop, mixed martial arts, football, zumba, tennis and an arts and crafts workshop. In the summer the school takes children away to a camp in Normandy, to the Ecole des Roches. The bus costs 1,000 AED a month per child regardless of the number of school days, the distance and the number of children in the family; uniform is compulsory and is sold at the Threads shop in Cityland Mall. The Dubai knowledge and human development authority inspection for 2023-2024 gave the school a rating of "very good". Neither the year of foundation, nor the number of pupils, nor the number of teachers does the school publish.

About the fees The school's grid for the 2025-2026 and 2026-2027 school years is laid out as a table on the enrolment page, in dirhams per school year: the small section of the kindergarten 46,350, the middle one 56,650, the large one 59,740, the first grade 62,830, the second 65,920, the third 69,010, the fourth 72,100, the fifth 75,190, the sixth and seventh 79,310, the eighth and ninth 84,460. From the senior grades the price falls and branches by route: the tenth 65,827, the eleventh 68,643 on the French international baccalaureate BFI or 72,363 on the Diploma Programme of the International Baccalaureate, the twelfth 72,363. The school mentions a loyalty discount but does not name its size.
Admissions The school calls itself inclusive and keeps a separate coordinator of special educational needs for that, with an email address and an internal extension of their own. Conditions of selection - neither age thresholds beyond the grade grid, nor an entrance examination, nor an interview - the school does not set on its enrolment page: instead of them it prints a list of documents and takes a one-off non-refundable fee for opening a file. Documents are asked for as one PDF file each and for each child: the passports of the pupil and the sponsor, the residence permits of both, the Emirates ID from both sides, a birth certificate in English or Arabic, a photograph, a vaccination card, reports for the current and the two previous years in English or French, a transfer certificate, a certificate with the name of the school, the year and the grade, and for those who already studied in Dubai, a transfer certificate of the knowledge and human development authority. Applications are handled by the admissions officer, and campus tours are booked with her as well.
Stages and year groups Grades PS/Pre-KG - Terminale/Grade 12. The school keeps the French count of grades and the English one beside it. The kindergarten has three sections, small, middle and large, from three to six years old. The primary school runs from CP to CM2, the first to the fifth grade, from six to eleven years old. The college runs from the sixth to the third year of the French count, the sixth to the ninth of the English one, from eleven to fifteen. The lycee is the second, the first and the terminale, the tenth to the twelfth grade, from fifteen to eighteen. The route is chosen after the tenth grade: the French international baccalaureate BFI with an American section or the Diploma Programme of the International Baccalaureate. The school's hours are Monday to Thursday from 8:00 to 17:00, on Friday from 8:00 to 12:30.
