Deira Private School stands in Al Twar 3 and teaches the English national curriculum in English. It is not a full school: children are admitted from the age of three, and then come Foundation Stage, the primary school and the secondary school up to Year 9 - the fee table ends exactly there - and the school describes its curriculum plainly as being "for Year 7 to Year 9 students". It therefore has no external examinations, and the compulsory subjects of the UAE Ministry of Education are built into the curriculum; the languages are Arabic - for both Arabs and non-Arabs - and French. The campus is put together for a small school but with some unusual items: a forest school and outdoor learning, a library, a music room, an amphitheatre, a health centre, a sports pitch, a fine and performing arts department, an ICT suite laboratory, a science laboratory, a room for children with special educational needs, an English language learning room and an auditorium. The Dubai regulator's ratings for 2023-2024 are Good on all three measures the school posts on its home page: national agenda, wellbeing and inclusion. The fee structure is unusual: an "actual" and a "discounted" fee stand side by side, and in the senior years the gap reaches ten thousand dirhams, while a long list of separate charges sits on top - bus, extracurricular activities, English language support, a robotics device, the STEAM programme, uniform and books.

About the fees The 2026-2027 annual fee is given in the school's table in two columns - actual and discounted. Foundation Stage 1 and 2: 22,867 dirhams in both; Years 1-3: 25,213; Years 4-5: 31,077 actual and 29,694 discounted; Year 6: 35,739 and 30,801; Years 7-9: 41,147 and 30,925. It is paid in three parts - August, December and March. In a separate table the school posts annual amounts from the KHDA approved factsheets: 24,067 for FS1 and FS2, 26,413 for Years 1-3, 30,894 for Year 4 and so on. On top of the fee: a registration fee of 500 dirhams, an application fee of 500, an activity fee of 1,200, bus fees from 6,000 to 9,500, extracurricular activities from 2,000 to 3,900, English language learning from 4,500 to 7,000, a robotics device from 300 to 600, the STEAM programme from 300 to 1,500, a uniform pack from 750 to 1,500 and books and resources from 2,800 to 4,100 depending on the year group. Discounts: 10 per cent for a second child, 15 for a third and subsequent children, plus card discounts of 25 per cent for Emirates Platinum, 20 for Esaad and 15 for Fazza.
Stages and year groups Grades Foundation Stage 1 from age 3 - Year 9. The stages run straight through from Foundation Stage to Year 9: the preparatory years, the primary school in Years 1 to 6 and the secondary school in Years 7 to 9. The fee table ends with Year 9, and the school has no senior stage with external examinations. The compulsory subjects of the UAE Ministry of Education are built into the curriculum.
