H-FARM International School Rosà is a paritaria bilingual school in the historic Villa Segafredo in Rosà near Bassano del Grappa. It grew out of the English International School di Rosà, active since 1992, joined the H-FARM International School network in 2018 and reshaped its teaching on the model of the network's IB schools, although it does not itself offer IB programmes. The school offers a nine-year path: a two-year Reception entirely in English (the second and third years of preschool), five years of primary and three of middle school. It follows the Italian national curriculum of a paritaria school in English and Italian: in primary, a native English teacher and a native Italian teacher work together in every class. Since 2021 it has been a Cambridge International School: in primary, English as a second language, mathematics and science follow the Cambridge curriculum, in middle school English and science; all students take Cambridge Checkpoint. The average grade in the end of middle school exam over six years is 8.2 against a national 7.2.

About the fees Fees for the 2026-2027 school year, per year (Tuition & Tech Fee): Reception 9230 EUR, years 1-2 10970 EUR, years 3-5 11530 EUR, middle school 12610 EUR. Fees include daily lunch, accident insurance, iPad and software maintenance, and in primary textbooks and stationery. Discounts: 2.5% for paying the year in full, 10% for the second child and 15% for the third.
Admissions Enrolment is open all year if places are available; students are usually placed by year of birth. Steps: getting to know the school (a meeting or open day), application with documents, online registration on the platform. English is not required in primary: children without English or bilingual experience get paid language support during school hours until they reach the required level. The middle school admits students from any primary school, state or private, Italian or international; English at about A2 level is needed for years 1-2 and B1 for year 3, applicants meet the programme coordinator who assesses their English, and if slightly below the level, paid language support is compulsory. As the school is paritaria, no extra exams are needed to move to a state middle or high school.
Stages and year groups The Italian national curriculum of a paritaria school with a Cambridge International strand (since 2021): in scuola primaria, Cambridge Primary in English as a Second Language, Mathematics and Science; in scuola secondaria di primo grado, Cambridge Lower Secondary in English as a Second Language and Science; annual Cambridge Progression Tests and the Cambridge Checkpoint exam at the end of primary and middle school for all students. At the end of middle school everyone takes the Italian state exam (esame di Stato del primo ciclo) at the school. Middle school has 34 lessons a week, 7 of them H-FARM's own courses (art, science with a lab and virtual reality, computing); a second foreign language, Spanish or German, two lessons a week, is compulsory. Reception is a two-year course entirely in English with a native teacher and a bilingual assistant.

CambridgeCambridge International Education
Part of the University of Cambridge. It allows a school to teach the Cambridge programmes and to enter pupils for the exams. There are four stages and they are authorised separately: primary, lower secondary, IGCSE and A Level. If the stages are known they are named in the line below; if that line is missing, the school does not publish them, and the Cambridge registry does not show stages either - it gives only the name of the centre, the country and whether private candidates are accepted. Cambridge calls what it does registration rather than accreditation, and the network holds about ten thousand schools.
What the badge means for this school. The school is allowed to run this programme and to award its certificate. This is a confirmation of the programme, not a judgement on the school as a whole. The entry stands in the organisation's public register - anyone can check it. At this school: Primary (ages 5-11), Lower Secondary (ages 11-14). Primary is the primary stage, ages 5 to 11: English, mathematics and science to Cambridge syllabuses. At the end of the stage a school may run the optional Checkpoint test, which is marked in Cambridge. Lower Secondary is the middle stage, ages 11 to 14, with the same optional Checkpoint test at the end.
Register to check for yourself, and the full guide →National programme
The state school programme of the country the school stands in: it is set by that country's ministry of education, which also licenses the school and awards the leaving certificate. That certificate is used for entry to local universities, and abroad it is matched to the local one.
What this means for this school. This entry does not count towards the score, and that is deliberate. Every lawful school in a country works to the national programme, so on its own it tells one school apart from no other - unlike the French, German or Russian programmes, which are carried abroad and confirmed by the register of their organisation. We show it because a parent needs to know what programme their child is taught and what certificate the child will get. Counting it would lift the whole ranking at once and still tell nobody apart.
Nord Anglia Educationschool network
A group of international schools of the full cycle, day and boarding. The numbers on its site diverge: the "About Nord Anglia" page speaks of 89 schools in 37 countries, the "Our schools" and "Our global network" pages - of 90, the "All schools" page - of "90+"; pupils are more than 100,000 everywhere. Whether the group owns the schools, manages them under contract or gives its methodology under licence is not said on its pages. The year of foundation and the country of registration are not named there.
What this means for this school. The network owns or operates the school. Its accreditation and programme authorisation the school obtains separately, in its own name.

No reviews yet. The community rating counts towards the score once a school has five verified reviews - until then we do not show a zero, so as not to mislead.

A low score here means the school does not write about this, not that the school does not have it: a school with good security and a sparse site will score low. A school can fill in its profile, and the score will be counted again.
The score is counted from 8 of the 9 criteria.Only those with checkable data count: programmes and accreditations from official registers, the fee from a published price list. Where it says "scored on the median", the school has no data and the middle of the list is put in its place, so that a gap gives no advantage. Admissions, teaching staff and reviews come in as their data arrives.
