Colegio Español María Moliner is a Spanish state school in Andorra, a «centro educativo público en el extranjero» (public school abroad) that teaches the Spanish education system from Educación Infantil to Bachillerato. It was created by the Spanish government under Real Decreto 86/2016 and says it builds on «más de setenta años de sistema público español en el Principado de Andorra» (more than seventy years of Spanish public schooling in Andorra). The school has two sites: Infantil and Primaria in Escaldes-Engordany, ESO and Bachillerato in La Margineda (Andorra la Vella). Lessons are taught in Spanish: it is a Spanish-system school, all pages for students and parents, the subject list and the enrolment forms are in Spanish, and newcomers get «Español como Lengua Extranjera» (Spanish as a foreign language) and «Iniciació al català» (introductory Catalan). Besides Spanish, it teaches Catalan, English and French. It is the only DELE exam centre and the UNED university entrance exam centre in Andorra. According to the annual plan PGA 2025-2026 the school has 652 students in 29 groups. School day: Infantil and Primaria from 9:00 to 16:30, ESO and Bachillerato from 8:00 to 16:00.

About the fees Tuition is free: the school belongs to the Spanish state. The school's website says nothing about fees; free tuition is stated by the Spanish Ministry of Education in its description of the education system in Andorra, which names only Agora International School and The British College of Andorra as fee-paying.
Admissions Admission is run by a committee of the Education Office (Consejería de Educación) of the Spanish Embassy in Andorra under yearly instructions linked from the school's admission page. The instructions state that Spanish education abroad is addressed «indistintamente a alumnado de nacionalidad española o extranjera» (to students of Spanish or foreign nationality alike). Applications are filed online, the regular window is February and March, later applications are accepted out of term, and from July only for relocation or exceptional cases. When applicants outnumber places, points are given for previous schooling in the Spanish system, siblings at the school, large-family status, disability, links to the Spanish language and culture, parents working in Spanish public institutions and kinship with alumni; for Bachillerato the grade average also counts. The Spain-Andorra agreement guarantees a place to Spanish and Andorran students within available places. After enrolment the family registers the student with the Govern d'Andorra, and students new to the country apply for an administrative identification number.

Accreditations and programmes verified against official registries
MEFPDSpain's state register of schools lists María Moliner in its "abroad" section as a school of the Spanish state itself (Centro de titularidad del Estado español, code 60006969): the Spanish curriculum and the Spanish certificate. This site in Escaldes-Engordany holds its nursery and primary school; secondary and baccalaureate are at the second site, in La Margineda.

MEFPDMinistry of Education, Vocational Training and Sports of Spain
A school of the Spanish education system abroad: run by the Spanish state, or a private Spanish school supervised by the ministry, or a school under an agreement with the ministry. The curriculum is Spanish, and leavers receive the Spanish certificate. Every such school is named in Spain's state register of schools, each with its own code.
What the badge means for this school. This is a Spanish school abroad, and that can be checked in Spain's state register. The entry is not a quality inspection: a school is on the register as part of the Spanish system, not as the outcome of an assessment. The curriculum and the certificate are Spanish. What other programmes the school offers, and what it charges, are on its own website. The entry stands in the organisation's public register - anyone can check it.

The state school programme of Spain, with the Spanish certificates: ESO at 16 and the Bachiller after the baccalaureate.
What this means for this school. The programme is set by the Spanish Ministry of Education, which also names the school in its state register of schools, in the "abroad" section. Leavers receive Spanish qualifications: the Graduado en ESO after secondary school and the título de Bachiller after the baccalaureate. They are used for entry to Spanish universities; in other countries they are matched to local ones.
Exams and destinations from the school's official website
The school publishes nothing about where its leavers go: no share going on to university, no exam results, no list of universities.

Reviews
No reviews yet. The community rating counts towards the score once a school has five verified reviews - until then we do not show a zero, so as not to mislead.

A low score here means the school does not write about this, not that the school does not have it: a school with good security and a sparse site will score low. A school can fill in its profile, and the score will be counted again.
The score is counted from 8 of the 9 criteria.Only those with checkable data count: programmes and accreditations from official registers, the fee from a published price list. Where it says "scored on the median", the school has no data and the middle of the list is put in its place, so that a gap gives no advantage. Admissions, teaching staff and reviews come in as their data arrives.
