Trường Tiểu học Nguyễn Siêu, in English Nguyen Sieu Primary School, stands on Nguyen Xuan Nham street in the Yen Hoa ward of Cau Giay district in Hanoi and has worked since 1993: the school was opened under decision 2860 of the People's Committee of Hanoi by Colonel Nguyen Trong Vinh and the teacher Duong Thi Thinh. It is a private school under the supervision of the education and training department of Cau Giay district, and it has one stage, the primary one, from the first to the fifth grade. The school has come through a run of recognitions: a school of the national standard since 2008, a school of raised quality since 2013/2014, a Cambridge bilingual school since 2015. The programme joins the Vietnamese programme of the Ministry of Education and Training with the Cambridge one, and there are two lines, the advanced and the standard: the Vietnamese part takes from 20 to 24 lessons a week, the Cambridge part from 16 to 20. The intake into the first grade goes into 10 classes of 30 children, there is no entrance examination, and in its place there are four Saturday meetings of a club at which the child is looked at, while the age requirement is put as a year of birth. The school states a ratio of 11 pupils to one teacher and speaks of more than 300 awards won by its teachers and more than 1500 awards won by its pupils. Admissions Admission is described in detail and by dates. The intake into the first grade goes into 10 classes, no more than 30 pupils in a class, and separately along the two lines, the advanced bilingual and the standard bilingual. A child must be born in the announced year: for the 2027/2028 school year that is the year of birth 2021. Registration opens on 3 October and closes when the intake is full. The school holds no entrance examination: in its place the child goes through a club called The Beginning of the Path to Excellence, four Saturday meetings at which the child is assessed. The meetings of the advanced line run from 24 October to 14 November, those of the standard line from 28 November to 19 December, and the decision is given within a week after the last meeting. The application is made through a separate intake portal. To the intake the school attaches, as separate files, the rules of the school bus, the academic calendar, a sample menu and the timetable of the clubs.

The local one goes with immersion in village life and nature: team tasks, leadership and survival skills, from map reading and orienteering to building a shelter and making a fire. Separately the school announced a day summer session of 2025 on its own grounds.
