Nova Study is a private school for children from Ukraine in Jazgarzewszczyzna near Warsaw (Piaseczno county). Two schools of one owner operate here: Niepubliczna Szkoła Podstawowa Nova Study (grades 1-8) and Niepubliczne Liceum Ogólnokształcące Nova Study (liceum grades 1-4). The base is the Polish core curriculum: students sit the egzamin ósmoklasisty and receive Polish education certificates. Elements of the Ukrainian and British curricula are built in: in grades 1-8 some subjects are taught in English following Cambridge programmes (mathematics, science, ICT), and the share of English-medium teaching grows each year. In the liceum a Canadian programme replaces the British one: through an agreement with Toronto Imperial School students may take additional subjects and receive the Canadian Ontario Secondary School Diploma after grade 11; there is also preparation for the Ukrainian National Multi-Subject Test (NMT). Teachers speak Ukrainian, there are native English speakers, mentors and psychologists. Classes are small, 12 to 18 students. The school works both as a day school (8:30 to 18:00) and as a boarding school with accommodation in apartments in Mokotów.

About the fees The school does not publish tuition fees on its websites: a consultant provides them on request. Meals and the school bus are paid separately.
Admissions The school is designed for Ukrainian families; admission requires copies of the child's birth certificate and international passport and the report card or certificate from the previous school. Steps: an interview of the student and parents with a school mentor (online or in person), an English test with a minimum level of A2, and a review of grades with an average of at least 8 on the 12-point scale. Under the statute all applicants take an English test; the primary school may run a preparatory class for children from Ukraine who do not know Polish, with Polish as a foreign language. Applications are accepted while places remain. Enrolment is by contract with the parents.
Stages and year groups Grades 1-8 (szkoła podstawowa), 1-4 (liceum). Szkoła podstawowa, grades 1-8, under the Polish core curriculum with the egzamin ósmoklasisty; in grades 1-8 subjects are taught in English following Cambridge programmes: Ukrainian mathematics is combined with Cambridge Mathematics, biology, geography, chemistry and physics with Cambridge Science, and computing with Cambridge ICT; the website does not mention Cambridge exams. Under the statute bilingual classes (Polish and English) may open from grade 7. Liceum ogólnokształcące, grades 1-4, under the Polish curriculum with preparation for the Ukrainian NMT and an optional Canadian programme from Toronto Imperial School (OSSD after grade 11); in grades 9-10 (Ukrainian numbering) a dual diploma programme with Canadian school subjects in English. The website also mentions completion of the programme approved by the Ministry of Education of Ukraine with a Ukrainian certificate of complete secondary education. The websites give no separate list of foreign languages taught as subjects: they mention only extended English, Polish for children without Polish and extra classes in Ukrainian; the home, curriculum and mission pages and the statute were reviewed.
Accreditations and programmes verified against official registries
Cambridge · Primary, Lower Secondary · authorised programmeThe Cambridge register names the school as its centre; it teaches Cambridge Primary, Cambridge Lower Secondary. CambridgeCambridge International Education
Part of the University of Cambridge. It allows a school to teach the Cambridge programmes and to enter pupils for the exams. There are four stages and they are authorised separately: primary, lower secondary, IGCSE and A Level. If the stages are known they are named in the line below; if that line is missing, the school does not publish them, and the Cambridge registry does not show stages either - it gives only the name of the centre, the country and whether private candidates are accepted. Cambridge calls what it does registration rather than accreditation, and the network holds about ten thousand schools.
What the badge means for this school. The school is allowed to run this programme and to award its certificate. This is a confirmation of the programme, not a judgement on the school as a whole. The entry stands in the organisation's public register - anyone can check it. At this school: Primary (ages 5-11), Lower Secondary (ages 11-14). Primary is the primary stage, ages 5 to 11: English, mathematics and science to Cambridge syllabuses. At the end of the stage a school may run the optional Checkpoint test, which is marked in Cambridge. Lower Secondary is the middle stage, ages 11 to 14, with the same optional Checkpoint test at the end.

The Ukrainian school programme: a state-issued certificate of complete general secondary education used for entry to Ukrainian universities.
What this means for this school. The programme is recorded from the school's own words. Ukraine's education ministry has kept a list of verified Ukrainian schools abroad since 2025, but so far only for weekend schools. The state certificate is issued not by the school abroad but by the Ukrainian school where the pupil is enrolled as an external student, on the results of the state final attestation and under Ukrainian rules.
National programme
The state school programme of the country the school stands in: it is set by that country's ministry of education, which also licenses the school and awards the leaving certificate. That certificate is used for entry to local universities, and abroad it is matched to the local one.
What this means for this school. This entry does not count towards the score, and that is deliberate. Every lawful school in a country works to the national programme, so on its own it tells one school apart from no other - unlike the French, German or Russian programmes, which are carried abroad and confirmed by the register of their organisation. We show it because a parent needs to know what programme their child is taught and what certificate the child will get. Counting it would lift the whole ranking at once and still tell nobody apart.

The school publishes nothing about where its leavers go: no share going on to university, no exam results, no list of universities.

The boarding apartments have 24/7 security, CCTV in common areas and Ajax sensors on windows and doors that alert the guard immediately after lights out; mentors stay with the children around the clock. An escort rides on the bus, and parents see the bus location in real time. Psychological and educational support is provided under the statute. In case of injury first aid is given and parents are informed; the school has an agreement with a clinic giving students a 15% discount.
Reviews
No reviews yet. The community rating counts towards the score once a school has five verified reviews - until then we do not show a zero, so as not to mislead.

A low score here means the school does not write about this, not that the school does not have it: a school with good security and a sparse site will score low. A school can fill in its profile, and the score will be counted again.
The score is counted from 7 of the 9 criteria.Only those with checkable data count: programmes and accreditations from official registers, the fee from a published price list. Where it says "scored on the median", the school has no data and the middle of the list is put in its place, so that a gap gives no advantage. Admissions, teaching staff and reviews come in as their data arrives.
