A primary school of the Saint Gabriel's network in the Sathon district of Bangkok, on Soi Sathon 11. It grew out of Assumption College, the first school of that network, founded by Father Emile Colombet in 1885: when there were no longer classrooms enough for everyone, it was decided on 4 December 1965 to build a separate school on a plot of five rai cut off from Assumption Commercial College, and teaching there was permitted from 22 May 1966. At first only ป.1-ป.4 were moved here, while ป.5-ป.7 stayed in Bang Rak. The plot later grew to eight rai, the buildings "ตึกพระนางพรหมจารีมารีอา" and "ตึกหิรัญสมโภช" appeared, in 1988 the school gained an orchestra of its own, and in 2002, together with the senior secti, it opened an English Program from ป.1. The school was named the best primary school in private education in 1990, and for the year 2000 it received a royal award for large primary schools.
