Skolbera ranks 1296 schools in 19 countries. Every school here holds an accreditation or an authorised programme that can be found in a public register, and 1 295 of them were checked against one. Nothing is taken from advertising, from directories or from maps: the score is built from what the school publishes about itself and from what the registers say about it. Places in the ranking are not for sale.

The index runs from 0 to 100 and is counted from nine criteria with fixed weights. A school is never scored on a criterion it has no data for: the weight moves to the others, and the card says so.
