Bangkok Tawiwit Bilingual School, known around the city as BBS, has been running in the Huai Khwang district of Bangkok since May 2002 and keeps two addresses on the same street: the kindergarten at 596 Pracha Uthit Road, the primary and secondary school at 589. Teaching is bilingual: in the kindergarten English and Thai share the time equally, in the primary school up to 60 per cent of subjects are taught in English and in the secondary school up to 70, while Chinese begins in Grade 1. Since 2021 the school has been registered as a Cambridge International School and prepares pupils for IGCSE and A-Level for those heading to international programmes at Thai or foreign universities. Children are taken from the age of two and carried through to Grade 12; the day ends at 14:10 for the youngest and at 15:30 for everyone else. The school lists a dozen clubs - from singing and hip-hop to Scrabble and football - but gives the cost of tuition only over the telephone. It publishes no list of the universities its leavers go to, no examination results and no pupil numbers.

About the fees The school does not show its fees on the site: where the amounts would stand in the admissions section it says "Enrolment Fees: Call 02 690 3471 or 081 901 4725" for the kindergarten and "Enrolment Fees: Call 02 274 2902 or 096 502 6675" for the primary and secondary school.
Admissions Kindergarten places go by age: "Pre-Kindergarten: 2 - 3 years old", "Kindergarten 1: 3 - 4 years old", "Kindergarten 2: 4 - 5 years old", "Kindergarten 3: 5 - 6 years old" (the admissions page on bbs.ac.th; the kindergarten programme page describes the same intake differently - "children, ages two and a half to six"). For the primary and secondary school there is a single conditi: "Students should have completed the previous level prior to their application". Enrolment runs all year round - "Application Period: Now ongoing" - and the admissions office is open on weekdays from 07.00 to 17.00 and on Saturday from 07.30 to 13.00. The school lists nine documents: a 2-inch photograph, a copy of the birth certificate and passport, a copy of the house registration book, a certificate from the previous school, copies of the kindergarten and primary school report cards, the primary school transcript, copies of the identity cards and passports of the parents or guardian, and a completed application form; scans are to be sent to info@bbs.ac.th.
Stages and year groups Grades Pre-Kindergarten - Grade 12. The school states its range itself: "Pre-School to Grade 12 Enrolment Details". It sets out three stages: the kindergarten (Pre-K and Kindergarten 1-3), the primary school and the secondary school. Leavers go back a long way: the alumni page carries year groups from 2005 to 2023.

Part of the University of Cambridge. It allows a school to teach the Cambridge programmes and to enter pupils for the exams. There are four stages and they are authorised separately: primary, lower secondary, IGCSE and A Level. If the stages are known they are named in the line below; if that line is missing, the school does not publish them, and the Cambridge registry does not show stages either - it gives only the name of the centre, the country and whether private candidates are accepted. Campus: Two campuses on Pracha Uthit Road. At the kindergarten the school shows the main building with its entrance and open yard, a separate Pre-K building, the Pre-K, K1, K2 and K3 classrooms, two playgrounds (Pre-K and K1-K2), a hall for dance and active play, an English learning centre (ESL Learning Center) and the corners in K3 - educational toys, reading and role play. At the primary and secondary school: primary and secondary classrooms, two computer rooms (separate ones for primary and secondary), a science laboratory, a robotics laboratory, a music room, two art rooms (primary and secondary), a reading room, a multi-purpose hall, a rest area for the secondary school, a swimming pool, a football pitch, a playground and a ball games court. What the school does not have: it states no floor areas, no number of buildings and no year of constructi; the list is laid out as a photo gallery with captions.
