Scholem Aleijem is a Jewish school in Buenos Aires that takes a child from the group for two-year-olds through to the fifth year of secundaria. It states its own credo as "educación judía pluralista, sionista, laica y abierta a la comunidad", and the Jewish programme runs level with the official one: Hebrew, Tanakh and the course "Mi Israel". English takes thirteen hours a week in primaria, from the third grade children may sit Cambridge Assessment English examinations, and in secundaria the First Certificate in English; the school calls itself a centre and examiner of the University of Cambridge since 2022. Secundaria offers two streams, "Comunicación" and "Economía y Administración", and holds agreements with universities: "desarrollamos convenios con distintas organizaciones: UADE; San Andrés; UP; UCEMA; Cambridge, entre otras". Outside lessons there is a large non-formal education department: a dozen clubs from circus and taekwondo to Israeli rikudim dancing, and separate groups for adults. The school gives neither its fees, nor its pupil numbers, nor its year of foundation on its site; it does not publish a list of the universities its leavers go to either.

The school runs three stages: jardín, primaria from the 1st to the 7th grade, and secundaria through to the 5th year with two streams - "Bachillerato Orientado Comunicación" and "Bachillerato Orientado Economía y Administración". The youngest group named on the site is "salas de 2 años": "hemos comenzado a partir de las salas de 2 años con el acompañamiento de un/a asistente que se comunica exclusivamente en inglés con los niños y las niñas". That secundaria runs to the fifth year is clear from the caption under a pupil's testimonial: "Camila, 5to año 2021". The grade boundaries in primaria are named in the composition of the leadership: "Directora de Área Oficial 5° a 7° grado", "3° y 4° grado", "1° y 2° grado"

Each stage has a support service of its own. In jardín this is an "Equipo de Orientación" of two specialists; in secundaria there are a "Responsable de Equipo de Orientación Escolar", a "Psicopedagoga y Secretaria Académica" and a "Coordinadora de Alumnos".
