What this means for this school. This entry does not count towards the score, and that is deliberate. Every lawful school in a country works to the national programme, so on its own it tells one school apart from no other - unlike the French, German or Russian programmes, which are carried abroad and confirmed by the register of their organisation. Schools of Medicana Eğitim Grubu, the education arm of the Medicana group; the group spells the name MBA out as Modern Bilimler Akademisi. Medicana itself describes itself as a union of companies begun in 1992, and holds, besides the schools, 16 hospitals and three medical centres in Turkey and beyond it, from Sarajevo to England, plus Fenerbahçe University. The group opened its schools in the 2018-2019 school year, and took over some of its sites: the network writes that Modern Bilimler Koleji became MBA Okulları when the group arrived. On size the owner says: 19 schools, 19 campuses in 11 provinces - Istanbul, Bursa, Ankara, Manisa, Nevşehir, Adana, Batman, Muğla, Sivas, Eskişehir and Kahramanmaraş. Some of the campuses run the IB PYP, among them the Istanbul one in Çamlıca.
