Nuevo Colegio Inglés, also known as New College, has been running in Capitán Sarmiento since 1992: the school was opened by Verónica Durante and Virginia Ursa, at first with a kindergarten and primary classes up to the fifth, the secondary stage appeared in 1995, and since 1997 the school has been run by Emprendimiento Comunitario Educativo, a non-profit parents' associati. The school is mixed, secular and bilingual, and its stages run from a group of three-year-olds in the kindergarten to a secondary school with a "Social Sciences" profile; from the four-year-old group the day divides into an English morning shift and a Spanish afternoon one. In the primary school pupils sit Trinity College London examinations and in the secondary school Cambridge ones, up to IGCSE, and the school has administered Cambridge examinations itself since 2007. Besides lessons there are workshops in chess, robotics and life skills, physical education rests on volleyball, hockey, football and athletics, and from the fourth class onwards there are overnight expeditions, which continue throughout the secondary school. The school stands on a plot obtained from Club San Carlos under a ninety-nine-year agreement and has been building in recent years: a dining room, new classrooms and a secondary school block. The school publishes neither its fees, nor its contributions, nor its number of pupils, and admission is arranged with a single pre-registration form.

About the fees There are no tuition fees on the school's site: it has no section on fees at all, and the sum can be learnt only on request.
Stages and year groups Grades Sala de 3 - Nivel Secundario; the school does not name the final year of its secondary stage on the site. In the kindergarten the groups run from three to five years: with the three-year-olds English comes through games, songs and role play, with the four-year-olds the bilingual project with a full day begins - English in the morning, Spanish after lunch - and the same holds for the five-year-old group (the double school day in the four-year-old group was introduced in 2023). The primary school maintains the bilingual project and workshops in physical educati, art, music, life skills, chess and robotics. The secondary school works under an official bilingual project (Resolución 302/12) with certification in the social sciences profile; the first classroom of the new secondary block opened in 2024.

There are four stages and they are authorised separately: primary, lower secondary, IGCSE and A Level. Campus: The school stands on the grounds of Club San Carlos: the new site was built in 2007 after a ninety-nine-year agreement was signed. The kindergarten block was built in 2010. In 2019 the neighbouring plot was bought for a dining room and a future secondary school block; in 2022 three classrooms were completed and the washrooms enlarged; in 2023 the dining room was extended and the first classroom of the secondary block begun; and in 2024 that classroom opened. On the school's old site the campus was described as "un amplio espacio verde, campo de deportes" - green grounds and a sports field. What the school lacks: it names on the site neither its working floor areas, nor the number of classrooms, nor a library, nor laboratories.

Since 2024 there has been a one-year professional development agreement for the leadership and the teachers of all three stages with the Universidad Católica Argentina (UCA). In 2013 and 2014 the school itself mentored Colegio Siglo XXI in Carmen de Areco through its move to bilingual teaching, and in 2014 it underwent an audit by the consultancy En Terreno Social and received advice from Colegio Santo Domingo in Tandil.
