A state high school of the Turkish Ministry of National Education in the Nilüfer district of Bursa, ten kilometres from the city centre and two from the district centre. The school is an Anatolian imam hatip high school: religious subjects and Arabic are added to the general state curriculum, and teaching is in Turkish. Seventy-five teachers to six hundred and sixty-three students. The school says of itself that it raises inquiring, interdisciplinary, knowledgeable young people alert to cultural heritage. Among its achievements it names first place in its region in a sermon-reading contest, first place in the Marmara region in an Arabic language contest, and graduates placing in the top thousand and the top hundred in the country in the national university entrance examination.
