Al Najah Private School, ANPS on its own website, works in Mohamed Bin Zayed City in Abu Dhabi and runs two lines at once: the British curriculum from FS2 to Year 11, and then a choice between AS with A-level and the IB Diploma in Years 12 and 13. The school has awarded the Diploma since 2011, and that is what sets it apart: Diploma subjects are English A Literature, Arabic A Language and Literature, French ab initio, Business Management, History, Economics, Physics, Chemistry, Mathematics, Biology and Computer Science. Teaching is in English. The school says plainly that it keeps the fee low - "high end learning for a reasonable fee" - and its Diploma really is one of the cheapest in Abu Dhabi: Year 13 costs 32,300 dirhams against 80,690 at neighbours in the same city. There is a university and careers guidance service built around the Unifrog platform: one-to-one meetings, subject choices matched to a plan, help with the statement of purpose and applications, and separate meetings for parents. What a parent needs to know: the website is unfinished - the pages on student life, clubs and the British curriculum are marked "coming soon", and the school says nothing at all about extracurricular activities, rooms or grounds.

About the fees Tuition for 2026-2027 rises by year group: 15,060 AED for FS2 and Year 1, 16,580 for Years 2 and 3, 17,860 for Year 4, 18,850 for Year 5, 19,720 for Year 6, 20,150 for Year 7, 21,800 for Year 8, 23,430 for Year 9, 24,850 for Year 10, 26,300 for Year 11, 30,110 for Year 12 and 32,300 for Year 13. The fee for Years 12 and 13 is the same on the AS route and on the IB route. On top of the fee the school bus costs 4,550 AED a year at every year group, uniform 300 AED and books from 500 AED in FS2 to 2,300 AED in Year 9. External examinations are paid separately, by the number of subjects chosen.
Admissions Admission runs in four steps: an application through an online form with documents uploaded, a check on availability of places, an interview and payment. The school publishes no English language requirement.
Stages and year groups Grades FS2 - Year 13. The British line runs from FS2 to Year 11, after which there is a choice: Years 12 and 13 either on AS and A-level or on the IB Diploma. The Diploma is a two-year programme with examinations in May-June of Year 13: six subjects, three at higher level and three at standard, plus theory of knowledge, a 4,000-word extended essay and CAS.
