Abu Dhabi, UAE · PrivateAl Rabeeh School is a private British school in the Hadbat Al Zafranah district of Abu Dhabi, and the first thing a parent needs to know is how far it goes: both the fee table and the school's own schemes of work run from FS1 at age three to Year 7, and Year 7 is where the school ends - after that the pupil moves to another school. The curriculum is the EYFS and the English national curriculum, taught by British teachers or teachers with international experience, in English, with Emirati culture built in. Its external inspections are good and traceable: the British Schools Overseas inspection gave it the top grade, Outstanding in all categories, and the school publishes the report itself; ADEK rated it Very Good overall in March 2025 and Good in 2022, and both reports are published too. The school runs its calendar and its admission rules to ADEK's instructions. Its way of doing things is built around several named strands: a pupils' eco council, a healthy-living programme, the My Identity programme, student leadership and pupil wellbeing. Clubs run in eight-week cycles: its own, free to all pupils - art, music, newspaper and debate, football, drama and yoga - and beyond them the school lets in outside providers, the Gulf Multi-Sport cycling club, PASS football, Clarke Foster tennis, Impact karate and Creative Robotics, which are paid for. Of its facilities the school names a library and school buses. The fee, meanwhile, is one of the lowest among the British schools of the emirate: from 28,840 to 35,590 dirhams a year.
