The first Russian school in the United Arab Emirates: it opened in Dubai in 1996, so the 2026-2027 school year is its thirtieth. A full-day school in Al Muhaisnah 4, it teaches the Russian federal curriculum from KG 1 through grade 11 and holds Russian state accreditation for all three levels of general education - which means the school itself issues the state-recognised leaving certificate, rather than the graduate sitting the assessment at someone else's centre. It is licensed at the same time by the Knowledge and Human Development Authority of Dubai, and it publishes its own charges as links to the regulator's official Fact Sheet for each grade. Teaching is in Russian, with English and Arabic as separate subjects, and Arabic and Islamic studies are taught as the UAE Ministry of Education requires. The children come from Russia and the CIS countries: the school names Uzbekistan, Kazakhstan, Ukraine, Kyrgyzstan, Belarus, Azerbaijan, Turkmenistan, Armenia, Tajikistan and Lithuania. There is an after-school group and a weekend school, a library of its own and its own buses around Dubai and Sharjah.

About the fees Fees for 2026-2027 rise by grade: KG 1 - 15,722 dirhams, KG 2 - 16,092, grade 1 - 21,372, then from 21,616 in grade 2 up to 25,180 in grade 10, with grade 11 at 24,177. On top of tuition the school takes a mandatory charge: 1,372-1,585 dirhams in kindergarten and 3,302-5,453 in the grades, plus an examination charge of 525-970 dirhams in grades 1 to 9, 840 in grade 10 and 620 in grade 11. Optional charges: registration 1,500-2,400 dirhams, re-registration 700-1,200, and 500 for a new pupil's application with testing. Payment falls in four instalments: 15 August and 1 October 2026, 1 January and 10 April 2027.
Admissions Admission runs from KG 1 to grade 11, and the school names no entrance examinations - only the testing that goes with a new pupil's application, charged separately at 500 dirhams. Documents are submitted as colour copies to admin.ris@dubairuschool.com in jpg, jpeg or pdf: the child's Emirates ID on both sides, the parents' documents, a birth certificate with an English translation, a photograph and a vaccination certificate in English. For grades 2 to 9 a transcript from the previous school with a certified translation is needed; for grade 10, the certificate or report for grade 9; for grade 11, the grade 9 and grade 10 documents, each with its own translation and legalisation.
Stages and year groups The stages run right through: KG 1 and KG 2, then grades 1 to 11. The Russian accreditation covers all three levels - primary general, basic general and secondary general - and the school's examination charges run from grade 1 to grade 11, so the state final assessment is taken on site. The office works Monday to Thursday from 8:00 to 16:00 and on Friday from 8:00 to 14:00. There is an after-school group and a weekend school.

Russian state accreditation, held not by the school as a whole but by its educational programmes: on an accredited programme a leaver receives the Russian state-issued certificate. Institutions abroad are gathered in the registry under a code of their own, and their certificates carry a term - twelve years from issue. No visit to the school is intended: since 2022 the indicators are calculated from documents and returns.
