The North Campus of Bogaerts International School opened in September 2022 in Diegem, in the north of Brussels, next to NATO and many multinational companies. It is a separate site with its own stages from Early Years (ages 3-5) to the IB Diploma, its own leadership and its own admissions head. Unlike the South Campus, primary and middle years here do not follow the IB PYP and MYP but the school's own concept-based curriculum, built on US science standards and Singapore mathematics. Teaching is in English, with French and Spanish as additional languages. Fees are the same as at the South Campus.

Admissions The school welcomes families from around the globe, both local Belgian families and families from all over the world. The steps are: contact the admissions team, visit during an Open Day or a campus tour, fill in the application form and pay the application fee, and submit two full years of school reports; once these are approved the child is invited for a trial day or an online interview, the school replies within one week and the family confirms within two weeks. Children with special needs must provide a special needs report. Enrolment usually takes place in February for September, but rolling admissions allow children to join during the year if space is available. English is not required: newcomers follow an English Language Acquisition Programme, and a language proficiency test is held at the beginning of the year.
Stages and year groups Grades Early Years - Secondary (DP 1-2). Early Years (ages 3-5) follows the school's own framework. Primary (ages 6-10): a concept-based programme built on the Next Generation Science Standards, Singapore Mathematics Standards and UFLI Foundations phonics; subjects are English, French as an additional language, humanities, sciences, physical education, visual arts and music. Secondary (ages 11-16): the school's own concept-based curriculum with psychology, computer science, English language and literature, French and Spanish, integrated humanities, mathematics, visual arts, design, physical and health education, music and an introduction to business management. From 16, the IB Diploma Programme. The website does not name the IB PYP or MYP for the North Campus.

IB · DP · authorised programmeNEASC · accreditationThe IB register lists the Diploma Programme at the campus. NEASC lists the campus separately and accredited it in 2026. The North Campus opened in 2022; up to age 16 it follows the school's own curriculum, not the PYP or MYP.

IBInternational Baccalaureate
A Swiss non-profit, working since 1968. Its programmes are among the most widely recognised school programmes in the world. Authorisation is granted stage by stage, so a school with the final stage does not necessarily run the younger ones; which stages this school holds is set out in the line below.
What the badge means for this school. The school is allowed to run this programme and to award its certificate. This is a confirmation of the programme, not a judgement on the school as a whole. The entry stands in the organisation's public register - anyone can check it. At this school: DP (ages 16-19). DP is the final stage, ages 16 to 19: six subjects plus a compulsory core of theory of knowledge, an extended essay and CAS. The diploma is accepted by universities all over the world, and in a number of countries it counts for admission on the same footing as the local leaving certificate.

An American accreditation working since 1885. For international schools it uses an approach where the visitors look first at live lessons rather than at folders of paperwork: the team works in the school for about a week. It is the only one here whose public directory honestly separates accredited schools from candidates.
What the badge means for this school. The school has been through this organisation's accreditation. It was judged as a whole: governance, safeguarding, staff, premises, teaching. The entry stands in the organisation's public register - anyone can check it.

A programme written by the school or its operator, with no independent organisation behind it: the rules are written by the same people who teach to them. There is no outside register to check such a programme against.
What this means for this school. This does not mean the teaching is poor: it means the content can be judged only from the school's own account of it. What to look at here is something else - the accreditation of the school as a whole, and the outside exams its leavers sit.
Exams and destinations from the school's official website
The school publishes nothing about where its leavers go: no share going on to university, no exam results, no list of universities.
Facilities
The school does not describe its premises on its website.

Reviews
No reviews yet. The community rating counts towards the score once a school has five verified reviews - until then we do not show a zero, so as not to mislead.

A low score here means the school does not write about this, not that the school does not have it: a school with good security and a sparse site will score low. A school can fill in its profile, and the score will be counted again.
The score is counted from 8 of the 9 criteria.Only those with checkable data count: programmes and accreditations from official registers, the fee from a published price list. Where it says "scored on the median", the school has no data and the middle of the list is put in its place, so that a gap gives no advantage. Admissions, teaching staff and reviews come in as their data arrives.
