Dubai Schools Nad Al Sheba is a school of the Dubai Schools network, teaching an American curriculum on the New York State Education Department standards leading to an American high school diploma, with Arabic and Islamic values placed at the foundation of the programme. The school does not select its pupils and calls itself fully inclusive: it has its own inclusion support team led by an Inclusion Champion and overseen by a governor for inclusion, and the support is built in tiers, from universal to targeted. The medical service is its own: a clinic with a full-time school nurse and school doctor who, the school says, are present throughout the day, working to KHDA and Dubai Health Authority rules. The grades are still growing: the school plans to open grade 10 in 2027-2028 subject to KHDA approval. Unlike most private schools in the UAE, the fee includes transport, uniform and extracurricular activities.

About the fees The annual fee is taken over three terms and rises by grade: 30,603 dirhams for KG1, 33,161 for KG2, 35,515 for grades 1 and 2, 36,391 for grade 3, 37,005 for grade 4, 39,712 for grade 5, 42,271 for grade 6, 44,829 for grade 7, 45,853 for grade 8 and 47,900 for grade 9. The same 47,900 stands in the table for grades 10-12, but those grades are not yet open: grade 10 is planned for 2027-2028 subject to KHDA approval. Transport, uniform and extracurricular activities are included in the fee - the school states this separately, subject to terms. The fee is approved by the KHDA.
Admissions The grade is set by age on 31 December under UAE Ministry of Education requirements: Pre-K takes a child who is three by that date, KG1 four, KG2 five and grade 1 six. The school publishes an equivalency table covering several programmes at once - its own American one, the IB, the British and the French - so a parent can see which grade a given birth year answers to in each system.
Stages and year groups Grades Pre-K - grade 9, with grades up to 12 planned. The stages: early learning, the elementary school, the middle school and the high school. For 2026-2027 the school has grown as far as grade 9; it plans to open grade 10 in 2027-2028 subject to KHDA approval, and grades 11 and 12 later.

For international schools it uses an approach where the visitors look first at live lessons rather than at folders of paperwork: the team works in the school for about a week. What this means for this school. The diploma is written out by the school itself: the American programme has no common leaving exam, and the content of the senior years is set by the school. Dubai Schools is not a private group but a Dubai government project, launched, per the site, in March 2021: «H.H. Sheikh Hamdan bin Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum... announced the Dubai Schools project in March 2021«. The site describes it as «a strategic public–private partnership, providing contemporary education in science and technology at accessible costs and in alignment with global standards«. Infrastructure, assets and financial support come from the Knowledge Fund Establishment, while the schools have an operator: «All schools are operated by Taaleem, one of the region's leading education providers«. The first phase opened in September 2021 with Dubai Schools Al Barsha and Dubai Schools Al Khawaneej. School counts differ between sites: the Nad Al Sheba campus site shows four — Al Barsha, Al Khawaneej, Nad Al Sheba and Mirdif — while the operator Taaleem's own schools list shows only three Dubai Schools (Al Barsha, Al Khawaneej, Nad Al Sheba).
