A private secular school near Valencia, in La Pinada (Lloma Llarga, Paterna), which combines Montessori education with the British curriculum and is recognised by the Spanish Ministry of Education. It was founded in 2016 by three families; today it has more than 350 pupils. The school takes children from 20 months to 18 years: Comunidad Infantil (20 months - 3 years), Casa de Niños (ages 3-6), primary school (ages 6-12), secondary school with Key Stage 3 and IGCSE in Years 10-11, and a pre-university stage with Cambridge AS and A Level in Years 12-13. The school calls itself a Cambridge International School and the only British Montessori school in Valencia; lessons are in English, the level of English is assessed on admission, and Spanish and Valencian are taught as subjects. For older pupils aiming at a Spanish state university, the PCE exams are prepared in Spanish alongside A Level. The building was put up in 2018-2023 in wood and brick, with a green roof and solar panels, and is entered for the BREEAM Excellent and Verde certificates; a new secondary building is being built for September 2027. The school day runs from 9:00 to 16:30, with morning and evening care from 8:00 to 18:00; lunch and snacks from organic local produce are included in the fee. The school publishes its fees monthly, ten payments a year. The school is linked to the Zubi group.

Admissions Admission in four steps: an enquiry about a free place, an online meeting or a visit to the school, for applicants from Year 1 (from age 5) time in class with their future classmates, then a recommendation on admission from the academic team and enrolment. The recommendation is based on the level of English, the academic level and the ability to fit into the group. In the first year an admission fee is paid, then a yearly fee to confirm the place for the following year.
Stages and year groups Grades Comunidad Infantil (20 months) - Year 13. Stages: Comunidad Infantil for children from 20 months to 3 years, Casa de Niños for ages 3-6, primary school for ages 6-12, secondary school with Key Stage 3 (Years 7-9) and Key Stage 4 (Years 10-11) with compulsory and optional IGCSE subjects, and the pre-university stage (Years 12-13) with AS Level in Year 12 and A Level in Year 13 on Cambridge exams. In secondary, subjects are taught by specialist teachers, and each pupil has a tutor; in Year 11 the school recommends work experience and holds careers interviews. Classes in the upper stage are small, but the school gives no class size as a number.

CambridgeCambridge International Education
Part of the University of Cambridge. It allows a school to teach the Cambridge programmes and to enter pupils for the exams. There are four stages and they are authorised separately: primary, lower secondary, IGCSE and A Level. If the stages are known they are named in the line below; if that line is missing, the school does not publish them, and the Cambridge registry does not show stages either - it gives only the name of the centre, the country and whether private candidates are accepted. Cambridge calls what it does registration rather than accreditation, and the network holds about ten thousand schools.
What the badge means for this school. The school is allowed to run this programme and to award its certificate. This is a confirmation of the programme, not a judgement on the school as a whole. The entry stands in the organisation's public register - anyone can check it. At this school: IGCSE (ages 14-16), A-Level (ages 16-18). IGCSE means exams at around Year 10 or 11, the British counterpart of a lower secondary leaving certificate. A-Level is the senior years, and their results are what British and many other universities admit on.

Reviews
No reviews yet. The community rating counts towards the score once a school has five verified reviews - until then we do not show a zero, so as not to mislead.

A low score here means the school does not write about this, not that the school does not have it: a school with good security and a sparse site will score low. A school can fill in its profile, and the score will be counted again.
The score is counted from 8 of the 9 criteria.Only those with checkable data count: programmes and accreditations from official registers, the fee from a published price list. Where it says "scored on the median", the school has no data and the middle of the list is put in its place, so that a gap gives no advantage. Admissions, teaching staff and reviews come in as their data arrives.
