A private Montessori school in the centre of Córdoba that takes children from one to eighteen years old. It was founded and is led by María Ángeles Jiménez Atalaya, who began with home-based care for babies under the Mi Nido Mimado model. The stages follow the Montessori planes of development: the infant community (under three), the Children’s House (3-6), the Workshop (6-12) and the adolescent community (12-15 and 15-18), in mixed-age groups with individual work plans. Secondary school and bachillerato follow an international programme accredited by the American association MSA-CESS: after Grade 10 and Grade 12 pupils have their studies recognised as Spanish ESO and bachillerato. In bachillerato there are two routes: the American High School Diploma (with entry to Spanish universities through UNED or preparation for the PAU) and, as the school writes, the International Baccalaureate (IB) in a blended format with preparation for IGCSE and A Level. Adolescents have Occupation, real work with the basics of economics, the year-long Monográfico research project in Grade 10-12 and six-week interdisciplinary plans. The school teaches English through its own bilingual programme; in secondary school humanities, geography and moral education are taught in it, and each year ends with an international exchange. All staff are certified in Positive Discipline. Pupils of the school have won first prizes in the El Audiovisual en la Escuela competition of the Audiovisual Council of Andalusia and in the science monologue competition of the University of Córdoba.

"Scored on disclosed data" stands where we count only what the school has written about itself on its own site: exams and destinations, safety and wellbeing, teaching staff, facilities, clubs and activities. A low score here means the school does not write about this, not that the school does not have it: a school with good security and a sparse site will score low. A school can fill in its profile, and the score will be counted again.
The score is counted from 8 of the 9 criteria.Only those with checkable data count: programmes and accreditations from official registers, the fee from a published price list. Where it says "scored on the median", the school has no data and the middle of the list is put in its place, so that a gap gives no advantage. Admissions, teaching staff and reviews come in as their data arrives. The full methodology →
