Mirabal is a private school in Boadilla del Monte outside Madrid, founded in 1982 and today part of the Inspired group. The site is a large one: 40000 square metres in natural surroundings, and the school chose the place deliberately, for sport and a healthy way of life which it calls one of the pillars of its project. The multilingual project begins at the age of two and runs three languages at once - English, French and German - and on top of them the school keeps an internationalisation programme with exchanges and language immersions. Music, drama and oratory run inside the school timetable rather than after lessons; the school is designated a Centro Autorizado de Música. The IB Diploma Programme is intended for ages 16 to 19 and runs at the upper stage on top of the national baccalaureate. Extracurricular activities run from 17:00 to 18:30 Monday to Friday, with competitions on Saturdays; beyond sport, art and music the school offers Chinese and robotics. The main thing a parent needs to know: the IB Diploma is an upper-stage choice rather than the programme of the whole school, and the school is private, with no public funding agreement.

Admissions Admission is open all year and goes in three steps: the family comes to the school, tours the campus and sees how lessons run in the classrooms; during the same visit the child takes level tests and a personal interview; if the family chooses the school, it receives an offer of registration, and once the documents are completed enrolment is confirmed. A pupil counts as enrolled when the management has admitted them, the documents have been handed in and the place reservation and entry fee have been paid. Younger siblings have priority in the lowest available class provided the deadlines are met. The school names no language requirement and no application deadlines.
Stages and year groups Grades from age 2 - baccalaureate. The school keeps a nursery, Primaria, Secundaria and the baccalaureate, and speaks of its lower boundary through languages: the multilingual project runs «desde los dos años». The IB Diploma Programme is intended for ages 16 to 19. Extracurricular activities run from 17:00 to 18:30 Monday to Friday, with sports competitions on Saturdays.

IBInternational Baccalaureate
A Swiss non-profit, working since 1968. Its programmes are among the most widely recognised school programmes in the world. Authorisation is granted stage by stage, so a school with the final stage does not necessarily run the younger ones; which stages this school holds is set out in the line below.
What the badge means for this school. The school is allowed to run this programme and to award its certificate. This is a confirmation of the programme, not a judgement on the school as a whole. The entry stands in the organisation's public register - anyone can check it. At this school: MYP (ages 11-16), DP (ages 16-19). MYP is the middle stage, ages 11 to 16. There are no exams here either; at the end an optional electronic assessment of pupils' work is possible. DP is the final stage, ages 16 to 19: six subjects plus a compulsory core of theory of knowledge, an extended essay and CAS. The diploma is accepted by universities all over the world, and in a number of countries it counts for admission on the same footing as the local leaving certificate.
Register to check for yourself, and the full guide →National programme
The state school programme of the country the school stands in: it is set by that country's ministry of education, which also licenses the school and awards the leaving certificate. That certificate is used for entry to local universities, and abroad it is matched to the local one.
What this means for this school. This entry does not count towards the score, and that is deliberate. Every lawful school in a country works to the national programme, so on its own it tells one school apart from no other - unlike the French, German or Russian programmes, which are carried abroad and confirmed by the register of their organisation. We show it because a parent needs to know what programme their child is taught and what certificate the child will get. Counting it would lift the whole ranking at once and still tell nobody apart.
Inspiredschool network
Inspired Education Group is a private school group founded in 2013. The group gives different figures on its own pages - 125 schools on some, "more than 100" on others - and we quote both: choosing for a group which of its own numbers is correct is not something we do. Its schools are in Europe, Latin America, Africa, the Middle East and Southeast Asia, and some of them keep their own historic names, such as King's College in Madrid and Riga. The group's site is inspirededu.com.
What this means for this school. The network owns or operates the school. Its accreditation and programme authorisation the school obtains separately, in its own name.
Exams and destinations from the school's official website
The school publishes nothing about where its leavers go: no share going on to university, no exam results, no list of universities.

Summer camp: the school runs its own camp and takes children from outside as well
In summer 2026, from 22 June to 24 July, six camps run at the school itself, with meals and an optional bus: the infant camp (from 7 months to 6 years, play-based projects in English, daily swimming, sport, music, art and robotics, from 9:00 to 16:00, extended hours from 7:00 to 17:00, open to children from other schools too, from 189 to 755 euros depending on age and length), a multi-activity camp for ages 6-11 (sport, English, art, music, robotics, daily swimming, from 9:00 to 16:00), a cheerleading week for ages 7-17 from 22 to 25 June from 9:00 to 14:00, a catch-up course for the 4th year of ESO (Spanish, maths, physics and chemistry) and a Spanish course for foreigners aged 13-17, both from 9:00 to 14:00, and the Summer Music Camp from age 6 from 1 to 15 July, 300-354 euros a week.

Reviews
No reviews yet. The community rating counts towards the score once a school has five verified reviews - until then we do not show a zero, so as not to mislead.

A low score here means the school does not write about this, not that the school does not have it: a school with good security and a sparse site will score low. A school can fill in its profile, and the score will be counted again.
The score is counted from 7 of the 9 criteria.Only those with checkable data count: programmes and accreditations from official registers, the fee from a published price list. Where it says "scored on the median", the school has no data and the middle of the list is put in its place, so that a gap gives no advantage. Admissions, teaching staff and reviews come in as their data arrives.
