About the fees The school does not print tuition amounts: the charges page covers only the order of payment. A one-time, non-refundable registration fee of 500 applies to every student, and the school says it goes towards campus development, sports facilities, park areas, technology and library resources. Paying the year in full earns a 10 per cent discount; otherwise payment is spread over three or four instalments. Fees are taken in US dollars into the school's account at a Turkish bank. Tuition does not cover bus transport, medical insurance, uniform and textbooks, or educational field trips, which families pay to the coach company.
Admissions Admission is open to students of all nationalities and there is no selective entrance examination; applicants to the upper stage may be given a placement assessment. Families apply through a form on the site with the student's details, chosen curriculum and grade. Students must be re-registered for each academic year, and the school requires outstanding balances from earlier years to be settled before enrolment. English as a Second Language support is available.

What this means for this school. The diploma is written out by the school itself: the American programme has no common leaving exam, and the content of the senior years is set by the school. Outside checking therefore rests on two things here - the accreditation of the school, and the AP exams if the school runs them.
National programme
The state school programme of the country the school stands in: it is set by that country's ministry of education, which also licenses the school and awards the leaving certificate. That certificate is used for entry to local universities, and abroad it is matched to the local one.
What this means for this school. This entry does not count towards the score, and that is deliberate. Every lawful school in a country works to the national programme, so on its own it tells one school apart from no other - unlike the French, German or Russian programmes, which are carried abroad and confirmed by the register of their organisation.
