Çevre Koleji is a private school in Erenköy on the Asian side of Istanbul, teaching since 1998; this year it has 1,700 students from kindergarten to high school. The main site in Erenköy holds the kindergarten, primary school, middle school and high school, while a second site in Batı Ataşehir holds a pre-school only. The high school has seen out its 21st graduating class. English is the first foreign language, taught through the school's own SEPT programme aimed at the level of language certification exams; German, French or Spanish follow as a second language, and in the kindergarten English runs on structured language, content and language integrated learning and storytelling programmes. The high school runs its own ISE programme - responsibility inside the school, work experience and community service - and a counselling service for applications to universities abroad. The school also keeps its own sports club.
