Haras del Sur College opened in 2019 in the gated Haras del Sur neighbourhood beside Route 2 outside La Plata, on a plot of more than ten thousand square metres, and it was built around nature from the start: the school has its own vegetable garden and a course in ecology, and the children "grow healthy food" as part of their learning. There are three levels: the jardín from one to five years old, the primaria from 1st to 6th grade and the secundaria with the "Bachiller en Economía y Administración" orientation and strengthened English; all three run a full day, from eight to four. Teaching follows the project method, and in the senior school a Cambridge course is added to the Argentine diploma: "incorporamos el currículum de Cambridge IGCSE", with Business Studies, Economics, Global Perspectives and Design & Technology taught entirely in English. The children are divided into three houses with an oak emblem - red oak, blue oak and yellow oak - and a house is inherited within the family. Pupils are supported by psychologists and psychopedagogues of a separate team. The school does not publish its fees, its number of pupils or its teaching staff on the site, and its leavers have no list of universities either.

Admissions Enrolment is open: the home page carries "Ciclo Lectivo 2026 / Matriculación Abierta a Toda la Comunidad", that is, the school takes families from outside the gated neighbourhood as well. Stages and year groups Grades Nivel Inicial (de 1 a 5 anos) - 1ro a 6to grado - Nivel Secundario (Bachiller en Economia y Administracion). The school describes its three levels on separate pages and gives each of them a full day from 8 to 16. Jardín: "Nivel Inicial / De 1 a 5 años / Jornada Escolar de 8 a 16hs". Primaria: "Nivel Primario / de 1ro a 6to grado / Jornada escolar de 8 a 16hs". On the size of the plot the school speaks in the words of press reprinted on its site: pupils will return to a plot of more than 10,000 square metres surrounded by nature, to games of exploration and discovery, to growing healthy food, care for the environment and sport. The same text names its own vegetable garden and a course in ecology: the school keeps up contact with nature through the subjects "Environmental Education" and "Vegetable Garden".
