An Arabic school in the Bağcılar district of İstanbul, open since 2015 and describing itself as the first Arabic school in İstanbul to hold a licence from the Turkish Ministry of National Educati. It teaches two programmes at once - the Lebanese Arabic one and the British Cambridge one - from kindergarten to Grade 12; leavers receive documents from the Turkish Ministry of Education and the Ministry of Foreign Affairs, and those on the British track also receive Cambridge certificates. The children at the school come from more than thirty-four nationalities. The building has five storeys: physics, chemistry and biology laboratories, a computer room, a learning resources centre, a schoolyard, a mosque, a canteen, a school counsellor's room and a psychology room. There is school transport, catering, scholarships and a city transport card. At present only the home page of the site opens, while the sections about the school, about admissions and about contacts return an error, so a parent will find neither the fees, nor the number of pupils, nor a list of universities on the site.

About the fees The school does not publish its tuition fees: the section on fees and enrolment on its site does not open.
Admissions The school lists what is needed to enrol: a certificate of completion of the previous year, attested by the ministry of education and the ministry of foreign affairs of the country the child has come, a copy of the passport valid for at least six months, four photographs, proof of an address in Turkey (a water, electricity or internet bill) and a copy of the residence permit. From the parents - a copy of the passport, a copy of the residence permit, at least two telephone numbers and payment of the registration fee, after which the application form is issued.
Stages and year groups Grades KG1 - 12. sınıf. The school runs a Lebanese Arabic track (two kindergarten years, KG1 and KG2, ten years of basic education from Grade 1 to Grade 10, and two years of high school) and a British Cambridge track (Primary - Grades 1 to 6, Secondary 1 - Grades 7 and 8, IGCSE - Grades 9 and 10, AS and A Level - Grades 11 and 12). The school's own pages divide it in different ways: the programmes page gives a primary school from Grade 1 to Grade 6, while the İstanbul campus page gives four stages - kindergarten KG1 and KG2, primary school from Grade 1 to Grade 5, middle school from Grade 6 to Grade 8 and high school from Grade 9 to Grade 12. Part of the University of Cambridge. It allows a school to teach the Cambridge programmes and to enter pupils for the exams. There are four stages and they are authorised separately: primary, lower secondary, IGCSE and A Level. If the stages are known they are named in the line below; if that line is missing, the school does not publish them, and the Cambridge registry does not show stages either - it gives only the name of the centre, the country and whether private candidates are accepted. Cambridge calls what it does registration rather than accreditation, and the network holds about ten thousand schools.
