Colegio San Patricio stands on the lakeshore in Bariloche, on Avenida Bustillo, and opened in March 1993: the Montanaro couple came from Buenos Aires, built a wooden house on the plot and started from it, taking on teachers and families. The school runs three stages - Nivel Inicial from the age of three, Nivel Primario and Nivel Medio - the middle stage has 35 hours a week over days of 7.5 hours, and physical education is held at Club Pehuenes. English takes up a whole session for pupils from the fifth kindergarten group up to the seventh grade, and the school works as a closed Cambridge centre: examinations are sat inside its own walls, and in the senior years IGCSE can be taken in individual subjects. Twice a year, in the third and sixth grades and in the second and fifth years of the middle stage, there are external assessments in language and mathematics from Universidad Austral. What is permanent beyond lessons: a system of three Houses, the annual School Concert, chess, mathematics olympiads, a science fair, environmental trips with a hike every year, and exchanges with Aspen and with the Dublin School in New Hampshire. Stages and year groups Grades Sala de 3 - 5º año de Nivel Medio. Three stages: Nivel Inicial with the groups "Sala de 3, Sala de 4, Sala de 5", Nivel Primario up to the seventh grade, and Nivel Medio. The middle stage is built on the new ESRN scheme (resolution 5080/18) and divides into two cycles: "Ciclo Básico Un período de dos años, común a todas las orientaciones" and "Ciclo Orientado Un período de tres años, de carácter diversificado", that is five years; the external assessments are held "en los grupos de 2do y 5to año de Nivel Medio".

Campus: A single plot at Av. Exequiel Bustillo km 6,700 with one school building, which the founders' family began putting up in 1992. Lessons in all subject areas are held in the school building, apart from physical educati: that takes place at Club Pehuenes. There is a school canteen: hot meals and packed meals in containers are prepared by a contractor. The school gives no list of facilities - library, laboratories, sports hall.
