A private school of the Terakki Foundation, tracing itself to 1877. The school moved from the Nisantasi campus to the Levent campus in the 1994-1995 academic year and later opened a second campus in Tepeoren; in its own words this is One Terakki, two campuses - one school on two sites carrying the same values, which is why it is not treated as a network. The legal name of the high school on the Levent campus is Terakki Vakfi Ozel Sisli Terakki Lisesi. The school delivers the Turkish national curriculum alongside the IB Diploma Programme, holds EAQUALS accreditation for language teaching and runs separate units for assessment and evaluation, psychological counselling and guidance, and a learning development centre. Its students have raced in the Shell Eco-marathon every year since 2005 with electric cars they design themselves, and take part in the FIRST LEGO League.

About the fees The school prints its annual fees for the 2026-2027 academic year in a single table covering both the Levent and Tepeoren campuses, and every figure is quoted before VAT, each marked plus VAT. The lowest figures fall on the final year of each level - grade 4 of the primary school, grade 8 of the middle school, grade 12 of the high school and grade 12 of the science high school - at 503,578.18 TL plus VAT, which also covers grade 11 for students who entered the preparatory year in 2023-2024. The highest figure is 910,761.82 TL plus VAT: grades 1, 2 and 3 of the primary school, grades 5, 6 and 7 of the middle school, the high school preparatory class, grades 9 and 10, grade 11 for the 2024-2025 intake, and grades 9, 10 and 11 of the science high school. The kindergarten sits between the two: 755,085.45 TL plus VAT for age groups 4 and 5 and 784,463.64 TL plus VAT for age group 6. Scholarships are kept in separate sections by both the foundation and the schools.
Admissions High school admission runs together with the school's own examination for skipping the preparatory class, held in several sessions, with results published by date - in 2026 they followed the sessions of 20-21 and 27-28 August and 7 September. For candidates the school keeps a prospective student registration page, a separate preliminary registration calendar and a scholarships section. It prints no separate list of subject or language requirements.
Stages and year groups One institution on two sites, both in Istanbul: Levent in Besiktas, where the school moved from Nisantasi in the 1994-1995 academic year, and Tepeoren. The levels run from kindergarten at age four to grade 12, with the kindergarten, primary school, middle school, high school and science high school standing as separate institutions and the high school including a preparatory class. On the Levent site there are 12 classrooms in the kindergarten, 40 in the primary school with ten classes in each of the four grade levels, 41 in the middle school, 35 in the high school and 4 in the science high school; in the Tepeoren high school there are 25 classrooms.

Campus: The Levent site in the Besiktas district occupies 26,400 square metres, with 44,000 square metres of covered and 6,100 square metres of open space; the school has worked here since the 1994-1995 academic year as a kindergarten, primary, middle and high school. The second site stands in Tepeoren and carries the same values in newer facilities. Alongside the schools the foundation runs an art gallery, an art collection, cultural centres, a theatre festival and sports facilities on both sites.
