Arab Unity School has been running in Al Mizhar since 1975; it was founded by Mr and Mrs Taher and it is still in the family: the owner and chairman is Arwa A. Taher. It is a large school: more than 4,000 pupils, more than 80 nationalities and over 200,000 alumni in fifty years. The British pathway runs from FS2 to Year 13, that is from age 4 to 18, and ends with Cambridge IGCSEs and A Levels. The school makes the fee its main argument and calls it the best value in Dubai at this scale: from 8,512 to 15,528 dirhams a year. In 2023-24 the KHDA rated it Very Good for student wellbeing and Very Good for its post-16 provision. The school shows its campus through a virtual tour: laboratories, sports courts and fields, the Taher Hall, a robotics studio, and a library and learning centre. The day is short: Monday to Thursday from 7:30 to 13:50, and until 11:00 on Friday. It names the universities its leavers go to - Manchester, Durham, Toronto - and claims 100 per cent university acceptance.

Part of the University of Cambridge. It allows a school to teach the Cambridge programmes and to enter pupils for the exams. There are four stages and they are authorised separately: primary, lower secondary, IGCSE and A Level.
