Colegio Adharaz is a school of the Attendis education group in Espartinas, near Seville. The group is organised uniformly, and the school inherits its general rules in full: teaching is bilingual, in English and Spanish, and runs that way from age zero to the baccalaureate; the level of English is certified by Cambridge ESOL examinations, and the goal the group sets for everyone is the Certificate in Advanced English, that is level C1 on the Common European Framework; on top of that a third European language - German, French or Portuguese - may be taken from primary school onwards. The school is Christian but open to pupils of any belief, and says so plainly. Its personal side is built on a formation plan in virtues and competences and on monthly conversations between pupil and tutor - the group calls this preceptuación - and on an individual academic and personal development plan for each pupil. The group rests its international provision on the IB and calls itself the education group with the greatest number of authorised IB programmes in Spain: thirty-one authorised programmes and thirteen in the application process, the Primary Years Programme for children from three to twelve and the Diploma Programme from sixteen to nineteen. The main thing a parent needs to know: the site does not say which IB programmes are authorised at this particular school - all the figures are given for the group as a whole - and the group publishes no fees.

Admissions The school invites families to apply with the "Solicitar plaza" button on its page, by telephone on 955: 713: 820 or by e-mail to the office. For enrolment the Attendis group asks for a completed and signed application form, two photographs of the pupil, a copy of the family book, a medical certificate, the vaccination record, image consent and, on transfer, the transcript or latest report from the previous school. The school names no entrance tests, deadlines or language requirements. Neither the school nor the group says anything about foreign pupils or special conditions for them; the school speaks of a "global mindset" and language immersion, and says that its Christian character does not stand in the way of admitting pupils of any beliefs.
Stages and year groups The group's stages run from age zero to the baccalaureate, and bilingual teaching in English and Spanish is claimed across that whole span. A third European language - German, French or Portuguese - is taken optionally from primary school onwards. The school's own page gives no age boundaries by stage and no grade grid.

IBInternational Baccalaureate
A Swiss non-profit, working since 1968. Its programmes are among the most widely recognised school programmes in the world. Authorisation is granted stage by stage, so a school with the final stage does not necessarily run the younger ones; which stages this school holds is set out in the line below.
What the badge means for this school. The school is allowed to run this programme and to award its certificate. This is a confirmation of the programme, not a judgement on the school as a whole. The entry stands in the organisation's public register - anyone can check it. At this school: PYP (ages 3-12), MYP (ages 11-16), DP (ages 16-19). PYP is the primary stage, ages 3 to 12. It is not a set of subjects but a frame for the whole school: learning is built around lines of inquiry, and there are no exams at the end. MYP is the middle stage, ages 11 to 16. There are no exams here either; at the end an optional electronic assessment of pupils' work is possible. DP is the final stage, ages 16 to 19: six subjects plus a compulsory core of theory of knowledge, an extended essay and CAS. The diploma is accepted by universities all over the world, and in a number of countries it counts for admission on the same footing as the local leaving certificate.

Attendis is a private school group in southern Spain founded in 1972. On its site the group lists 20 schools and 13 Attendis Preschool nurseries in Andalusia and Extremadura: two schools each in Algeciras, Almería, Badajoz, Granada, Huelva, Jaén, Málaga, Marbella, Seville and the El Puerto de Santa María and Jerez area. According to the group, all of its schools were started by parents inspired by the teachings of Saint Josemaría on education and the family. Since the early years the schools have been run by the public limited company Centros Familiares de Enseñanza, registered in the Seville Commercial Register. The group's site is attendis.com.

What the listings show: certified to teach IB programmes (according to the school)
The school writes that its teachers are certified to teach International Baccalaureate programmes. The group trains its teachers through its own Attenditas programme, which gives a certificate as a specialist in personal formation and family counselling, and with it teachers hold monthly conversations with each pupil. The school does not publish the number of teachers, their names or a student-teacher ratio: the named staff list is open only to families through a closed area.
Safety and wellbeing from the school's official website
The school says nothing on its website about security, medical care or pupil support.
Reviews
No reviews yet. The community rating counts towards the score once a school has five verified reviews - until then we do not show a zero, so as not to mislead.

A low score here means the school does not write about this, not that the school does not have it: a school with good security and a sparse site will score low. A school can fill in its profile, and the score will be counted again.
The score is counted from 7 of the 9 criteria.Only those with checkable data count: programmes and accreditations from official registers, the fee from a published price list. Where it says "scored on the median", the school has no data and the middle of the list is put in its place, so that a gap gives no advantage. Admissions, teaching staff and reviews come in as their data arrives.
