Institut Moisès Broggi is a state secondary school in the El Camp de l'Arpa del Clot district of Barcelona, on Carrer de Sant Quintí. It holds a set rare for one school: compulsory secondary education (ESO), bachillerato in three lines - arts, science and technology, and humanities and social sciences - three vocational cycles in health care, and on top of that two double tracks, the IB Diploma Programme and the batxibac with French. The school has run the Diploma Programme since 2015, its code in the organisation is 050652, 25 places were announced for 2026-2027, and a student may choose the social or the scientific-technical route. The arts line is the school's own and a visible one: premises were rebuilt for it from 2009-2010, and since 2012-2013 it has been running - rooms for artistic drawing and volume, two infographics rooms with 24 computers, and a shared visual arts room. Among its projects the school names Magnet, a school mediation service, work with the MACBA and the Miró Foundation in the A Bao A Qu programme, an exchange with Valence in France through the batxibac, participation in blood donation campaigns and the European Parliament model. The school keeps a detailed chronicle of activities: a sailing outing for the first year of ESO, bachillerato sports days, a festival of artistic and innovation projects, meetings with writers and visits to the Museum of Music.

Admissions Enrolment in ESO, the three tracks of the bachillerato, the double IB track and the Batxibac goes through the general pre-registration of Catalonia. For the 2026-2027 academic year in ESO the provisional list comes out on 15 April 2026, the list after complaints on 23 April, the final ordered list on 29 April, the list of admitted pupils and the waiting list on 10 June, and enrolment runs from 22 to 30 June; in the bachillerato the provisional list of points comes out on 14 May, complaints run from 26 May to 2 June, the final ordered list comes out on 29 May, final lists on 17 June, and enrolment runs from 18 to 30 June. For the IB Diploma Programme there is a separate selection, and there are 25 places for 2026-2027: an average mark for years 1-3 of ESO of at least 8, an examination in mathematics and critical thinking, a personal interview partly in English and a conversation with the family; a pupil with an official English certificate at level B2 or C1 (First Certificate, Advanced) is exempt from the English part. The school writes nothing separately about children from other countries.
Stages and year groups Grades 1º ESO - 2º Batxillerat and vocational cycles. There are three stages: compulsory ESO, bachillerato in three lines - arts, science and technology, and humanities and social sciences - and vocational cycles in health care. The IB Diploma Programme and the batxibac run inside bachillerato as double tracks: a student leaves with two qualifications.

What stands behind each entry

IBInternational Baccalaureate

A Swiss non-profit, working since 1968. Its programmes are among the most widely recognised school programmes in the world. Authorisation is granted stage by stage, so a school with the final stage does not necessarily run the younger ones; which stages this school holds is set out in the line below.

What the badge means for this school. The school is allowed to run this programme and to award its certificate. This is a confirmation of the programme, not a judgement on the school as a whole. The entry stands in the organisation's public register - anyone can check it. At this school: DP (ages 16-19). DP is the final stage, ages 16 to 19: six subjects plus a compulsory core of theory of knowledge, an extended essay and CAS. The diploma is accepted by universities all over the world, and in a number of countries it counts for admission on the same footing as the local leaving certificate.

French programme

The state programme of France. A school is homologated by the French ministry of education, and a leaver may move into a school in France without entrance tests. Homologation is granted stage by stage, so it sometimes covers only part of the year groups.

What this means for this school. Which year groups of this school are covered by homologation - only the primary ones, or all the way to the final year - is not stated here. The difference matters: it decides whether the school takes a child through to the French baccalaureate or hands them on to another school halfway.

National programme

The state school programme of the country the school stands in: it is set by that country's ministry of education, which also licenses the school and awards the leaving certificate. That certificate is used for entry to local universities, and abroad it is matched to the local one.

What this means for this school. This entry does not count towards the score, and that is deliberate. Every lawful school in a country works to the national programme, so on its own it tells one school apart from no other - unlike the French, German or Russian programmes, which are carried abroad and confirmed by the register of their organisation. We show it because a parent needs to know what programme their child is taught and what certificate the child will get. Counting it would lift the whole ranking at once and still tell nobody apart.

Exams and destinations from the school's official website

The school publishes nothing about where its leavers go: no share going on to university, no exam results, no list of universities.

Reviews

No reviews yet. The community rating counts towards the score once a school has five verified reviews - until then we do not show a zero, so as not to mislead.

"Scored on disclosed data" stands where we count only what the school has written about itself on its own site: exams and destinations, safety and wellbeing, teaching staff, facilities, clubs and activities. A low score here means the school does not write about this, not that the school does not have it: a school with good security and a sparse site will score low. A school can fill in its profile, and the score will be counted again.
The score is counted from 7 of the 9 criteria.Only those with checkable data count: programmes and accreditations from official registers, the fee from a published price list. Where it says "scored on the median", the school has no data and the middle of the list is put in its place, so that a gap gives no advantage. Admissions, teaching staff and reviews come in as their data arrives. The full methodology →
