Colegio École is a private bilingual school in Asturias, in Santa Rosa near Lugo de Llanera, between Oviedo, Gijón and Avilés, where most pupils come from. It was founded in 1971 by Víctor Cueva, has stood on its present 45000 square metre site since 1983, and celebrated its half-century in 2023; the school is now led by Mª Elena Cueva López. The school is fully private, without state funding, ideologically pluralist, and takes children from Infantil to the bachillerato. Half of the school day from the age of three is in English, French starts early, and much attention goes to emotional education and new technologies; there is a separate programme of socio-emotional skills for gifted children. The school is accredited by the American agency Cognia. Pupils take part in many eTwinning projects, and in the bachillerato prepare for the PAU university exam, with talks by university teachers and former pupils. A special pride is basketball, which the school has run free of charge since 1972, as well as athletics, choir, band and chess.

A low score here means the school does not write about this, not that the school does not have it: a school with good security and a sparse site will score low. A school can fill in its profile, and the score will be counted again.
The score is counted from 8 of the 9 criteria.Only those with checkable data count: programmes and accreditations from official registers, the fee from a published price list. Where it says "scored on the median", the school has no data and the middle of the list is put in its place, so that a gap gives no advantage. Admissions, teaching staff and reviews come in as their data arrives.
