About the fees The annual fee before discount: 25,000 dirhams for Pre-KG to KG2, 30,000 for grades 1-3, 33,000 for grades 4-6, 37,000 for grades 7-9 and 40,000 for grades 10-12. The school itself prints the discount on that fee - 30 per cent in the kindergarten, 25 in grades 1-3 and 20 beyond - which brings it to between 17,500 and 32,000. On top of the fee: books from 2,000 to 3,500 dirhams by stage, uniform 700, and a seat reservation fee of 500 dirhams a year for continuing students and 500 once for new ones. Sibling discounts: 5 per cent for a second child, 7.5 for a third, 10 for a fourth, 15 for a fifth and beyond. There is a separate discount for memorising the Qur'an: from 5 per cent for 10-14 juz to as much as half the fee for all 30. Transport is not included and costs from 4,000 to 6,500 dirhams a year one way and from 4,500 to 6,500 two ways, by zone across Sharjah, Ajman, Umm Al Quwain and Dubai. Payment is in instalments: 30 per cent in cash and three cheques of 25, 25 and 20 per cent.
