The Cambridge High School stands in block ME 9 of industrial Mussafah in Abu Dhabi, by the Safeer mall, and takes children from four to eighteen on the National Curriculum of England, carrying them to IGCSE, AS and A Level. The school is single-sex at the secondary stage: there are two canteens on campus, one for boys and one for girls. The facilities include an indoor heated swimming pool, separate laboratories for physics, chemistry and biology, four ICT labs, a music studio with keyboards, steel drums, percussion and wind instruments, two art studios, a library with computers, an air-conditioned auditorium that doubles as a multi-purpose hall, a separate shaded playground for the youngest, a room dedicated to English language support and a prayer room. The extra-curricular programme is organised in three strands, and inter-house competitions run not only in sport but in public speaking, dance, quizzes, art, music and essay writing; the school runs its own Model United Nations too. Tuition runs from 16,960 dirhams a year in FS2 to 35,760 in the final years, which makes it one of the cheapest British schools in Abu Dhabi.
