Yahya Kemal College is a private school network founded in November 1996 in Skopje under protocols between the Yahya Kemal secondary schools and the Ministry of Education; it is named after the Turkish poet and diplomat Yahya Kemal Beyatli, born in Skopje. The school calls itself the largest private educational network in the country. Today it has three campuses - in Skopje, in Tetovo (Bogovinje) and in Struga, each with an elementary and a high school, and in Skopje also the Gonca kindergarten. This entry is the Skopje campus at Varsavska 23 in Karpos, which also houses the general directorate; the elementary school here opened as a pilot project on 15 January 2008. The school follows the national curriculum of North Macedonia approved by the Ministry of Education and builds it on several languages. In grades 1-5 core subjects are taught in the pupil's mother tongue and English is compulsory from the first grade, Turkish is added from grade 4, and from grade 6 mathematics and science move to English and German begins. The high school, the school says, works mainly in English and keeps teaching in three mother tongues - Macedonian, Albanian and Turkish. The first high school year is an intensive English year: within a year pupils reach Intermediate or Upper-Intermediate level. From junior year pupils choose a track - mathematics and natural sciences or social sciences; the curriculum names calculus, logic, modern physics, genetics, programming and design. Graduates, the school says, speak four languages: English, Turkish, German and their mother tongue. A Cambridge programme, IGCSE, A Level and other international exams are not mentioned on the school's website. The school puts its weight on olympiads and project competitions: at international project olympiads its pupils won 76 gold, 81 silver and 90 bronze awards in the 2018-2019 school year; at the 2026 State Matura all 9 people in the country who scored 100 percent study here. Every spring the school holds a scholarship exam for ninth graders. Parents use the MyEDUcare platform with marks, attendance and homework.

CambridgeCambridge International Education
Part of the University of Cambridge. It allows a school to teach the Cambridge programmes and to enter pupils for the exams. There are four stages and they are authorised separately: primary, lower secondary, IGCSE and A Level. If the stages are known they are named in the line below; if that line is missing, the school does not publish them, and the Cambridge registry does not show stages either - it gives only the name of the centre, the country and whether private candidates are accepted. Cambridge calls what it does registration rather than accreditation, and the network holds about ten thousand schools.
What the badge means for this school. The school is allowed to run this programme and to award its certificate. This is a confirmation of the programme, not a judgement on the school as a whole. The entry stands in the organisation's public register - anyone can check it. Which stages - from the early years programme for three-year-olds up to A-Level - this school is approved for is not stated here.

A low score here means the school does not write about this, not that the school does not have it: a school with good security and a sparse site will score low. A school can fill in its profile, and the score will be counted again.
The score is counted from 7 of the 9 criteria.Only those with checkable data count: programmes and accreditations from official registers, the fee from a published price list. Where it says "scored on the median", the school has no data and the middle of the list is put in its place, so that a gap gives no advantage. Admissions, teaching staff and reviews come in as their data arrives.
