The institution itself is older: Eyüboğlu Eğitim Kurumları began teaching on 6 March 1970 on the initiative of Dr Rüstem Eyüboğlu. The language side of the programme is arranged so that intensive English is joined by a second foreign language, German or Spanish. From grade 1 the school promises a setting that feeds curiosity and rewards research and discovery, and runs its programmes together with its guidance and psychological counselling unit. The school year is filled out with art, science, sport and cultural events.

That certificate is used for entry to local universities, and abroad it is matched to the local one.
What this means for this school. This entry does not count towards the score, and that is deliberate. Every lawful school in a country works to the national programme, so on its own it tells one school apart from no other - unlike the French, German or Russian programmes, which are carried abroad and confirmed by the register of their organisation. A private network begun in 1970 with the Arı courses, opened by Rüstem Eyüboğlu; the site names no holding and no foundation above the schools, only the board of the group itself. All the schools are in Istanbul, and the numbers within the site agree when counted by stage: the network names fifteen schools - six kindergartens, four primary, three middle and two high schools, Eyüboğlu Koleji and Burçak Fen ve Teknoloji Lisesi, - while the contacts list gives twelve lines, because some of the schools stand there combined, in the form "kindergarten and primary school". The campuses: Çamlıca, opened in 1988, Ataşehir in 2006, Batı Ataşehir and Kemerburgaz in 2008, plus kindergartens in Koşuyolu and Erenköy. The network writes that it was the first in Turkey to run the diploma programme of the International Baccalaureate, in 1996, that it runs all three programmes - the PYP, the MYP and the diploma, - and that it was the first of the Turkish schools to receive CIS accreditation, in 2000.
