The oldest of the Işık sites: the school of the Feyziye Foundation traces itself to Feyz-i Sıbyan, opened in Thessaloniki in 1885, and it moved to Teşvikiye after the Balkan War and stands here to this day. Kindergarten, primary and middle school and high school work at one address, so a child goes the whole way from the age of three to the twelfth grade without changing courtyards. Teaching is bilingual: the class teacher and the English teacher lead the group together, from the fourth grade a second foreign language is added - German, French or Spanish - and by the end of high school the school aims at an A2-B1 level and prepares for the Goethe, DELF and DELE certificates. The International Baccalaureate primary years program runs for children from three to twelve, and the IB diploma is in high school. The city plot is small: about 3,500 square meters of open areas and 17,500 covered, but inside there are two sports halls, a hall for gymnastics and ballet, physics, chemistry, biology, mathematics and computing labs, a maker lab, a ceramics workshop and two art studios, five rooms for instrument practice, two football pitches on the terrace, a library with more than forty thousand books and a conference hall for 450 seats. There is no pool and no summer camp on the site, the school does not report the number of students or exam results, and no list of the universities its graduates go to either.

About the fees Fees are announced for the campus on a separate sheet for the 2026-2027 school year and are broken down by stage and by grade, and within the high school by year of entry. The amount depends on the way it is paid: a transfer from an account is cheaper than a card and than installments over six, eight or ten payments, and early registration by 4 March is cheaper than registration by 1 April. VAT of 10 percent is not included in the announced amounts, meals are counted separately, and the IB diploma is paid for as a surcharge.
Admissions Applications to kindergarten, primary and middle school the school arranges in order of arrival and it keeps reserve lists. For the first grade, five-year-olds from the school's own kindergarten have priority; those who come through the quota are given individual talks by the psychological counselors, and for intermediate grades there is an entrance exam plus the same talk. With an application the school asks for copies of the child's and the parents' identity documents, a school record and a photograph, and a visit to get to know the school is arranged by appointment. Into the high school preparatory year, graduates of the middle school on this same campus are taken on their grade average for the fifth to the eighth grade, with a threshold the school sets each year; those who come from other schools are taken on their central exam scores.

A Swiss non-profit, working since 1968. Its programmes are among the most widely recognised school programmes in the world. Schools of the Feyziye Mektepleri Vakfı foundation, FMV on its own pages; the invoices and the signatures on the site stand in the name of Feyziye Mektepleri Vakfı İktisadi İşletmesi, the commercial enterprise of the foundation. The network counts its beginning from the Feyz-i Sıbyan school, opened on 14 December 1885 in Thessaloniki by Mümeyiz Tevfik Efendi; the schools received the name IŞIK on 16 December 1934, on the forty-ninth anniversary. Besides the schools the foundation holds the FMV Işık university and a sports club. Five campuses, all in Istanbul: Nişantaşı, Ayazağa, Erenköy, Ispartakule and Florya, - and fifteen school units on them, because on each campus the kindergarten, the primary-and-middle school and the high school stand as separate institutions, while in Ayazağa, Erenköy and Ispartakule the high school and the Fen Lisesi are split apart. Of programmes the network names the International Baccalaureate - the PYP in the junior schools and the diploma in the high schools - and membership of the Global Schools Program.
