Atayurt Schools is a private school outside Eskisehir, opened on 18 September 1995; the site names its founder as Muammer Fevzi Yalcin, a member of parliament for Eskisehir. The campus stands at the tenth kilometre of the Bursa road on a site of 15 donums, and the school works under the private education directorate of the Turkish ministry of national education. It started the 1995-96 school year with 70 students, 48 in the primary division and 22 in the middle school preparatory division. In 2001 a modern high school building for Fen Lisesi and Anadolu Lisesi students was added on the same site. The school now runs five stages and marks the IB Primary Years Programme against its kindergarten and primary school.
