Saint Helena Bilingual Education is a private bilingual school in Maringá on Av. Euclides da Cunha in the Zona 05 district. The school tells how it grew out of a grandfather's wish to give his first granddaughter the best educati, and how it took its name from the island in the Atlantic where the owner's grandmother was born. It takes children from one year and four months and goes up to the 9th grade: in the pre-school groups there are two teachers to a class, and in the school one teacher to ten pupils. English runs as the language of communication - up to four hours a day in the pre-school groups and ten hours a week in the middle school - and art, physical education and Spanish are extended alongside it. The campus covers more than three thousand square metres: air-conditioned classrooms with interactive boards, a dining hall, two open-air children's parks and one indoor, an indoor sports court, a bilingual library, theatre and music rooms, a teaching kitchen, a makerspace with a laboratory, an entrepreneurship room and dance studios. The school's website is not responding at present, so neither its fees nor its student numbers can be established from it.
