Brains International School Conde de Orgaz is the Brains group's infant school in the Conde de Orgaz district of Madrid, and it takes only the very youngest: from nine months to five years. It has one IB programme, and it is the one that fits the age - the Primary Years Programme, for which the school is authorised. The environment is entirely English-speaking, and the school builds it on a combination of the international curriculum, multiple intelligences and its own sensory development programme. Separately it treats good manners as part of education: table manners, mutual respect, polite words, the habit of knocking before entering. The school has its own heated swimming pool with salt chlorination, and swimming runs both as an extracurricular activity and as a separate swimming school open to people from outside the school. The whole Brains group has been awarded the Apple Distinguished School certification. The main thing a parent needs to know: the school ends at five, and after that the child moves to Brains María Lombillo in Arturo Soria or Brains La Moraleja in Alcobendas - continuity at those two group schools is guaranteed.

About the fees The school publishes its fees for the 2026-2027 school year as a PDF price list on its page. Per year: Young Learners and Pre-Nursery half day (9 to 12) - 6523 euros, Young Learners and Pre-Nursery full day - 6980 euros, Nursery, Reception and Preparatory - 7317 euros. The fee covers teaching materials, curricular outings and school insurance, and swimming is taught as an ordinary subject. The third child studying at Brains schools gets a 25 per cent discount, the fourth 50, and the fifth studies free.
Admissions The school does not set out a separate admission procedure on its page: for admissions it gives a separate admissions phone number and email and a contact form. The only conditions named are financial: a place reservation of 450 euros, deducted from the September bill and not refunded on withdrawal, and an annual registration fee of 450 euros. Children are taken from nine months to five years, after which the school guarantees continuity at Brains María Lombillo or Brains La Moraleja. The school names no entrance tests, documents or conditions for foreigners.
Stages and year groups Grades from 9 months to 5 years: Young Learners, Pre-nursery, Nursery, Reception, Preparatory. The school names its kindergarten stages in English: Young Learners for one-year-olds, then Pre-nursery, Nursery, Reception and Preparatory. The school ends at five, and the group provides continuation at two of its other schools - Brains María Lombillo in the Arturo Soria area and Brains La Moraleja in Alcobendas.

What stands behind each entry

IBInternational Baccalaureate

A Swiss non-profit, working since 1968. Its programmes are among the most widely recognised school programmes in the world. Authorisation is granted stage by stage, so a school with the final stage does not necessarily run the younger ones; which stages this school holds is set out in the line below.

What the badge means for this school. The school is allowed to run this programme and to award its certificate. This is a confirmation of the programme, not a judgement on the school as a whole. The entry stands in the organisation's public register - anyone can check it. At this school: PYP (ages 3-12). PYP is the primary stage, ages 3 to 12. It is not a set of subjects but a frame for the whole school: learning is built around lines of inquiry, and there are no exams at the end.

Brains International Schoolsschool network

Brains International Schools is a private group of international schools in Madrid and Gran Canaria, managed by the Sánchez Hita family. The group names Manuel Sánchez and María Hita as its founders; it gives no founding year and states its age differently - "45 years" in one place and "more than 40 years" in another - and we quote both. The site lists five centres: La Moraleja (Alcobendas), Orgaz and Arturo Soria in Madrid, and Las Palmas and Telde in Gran Canaria. Age ranges differ by centre, from children aged 9 months to 6 years at Orgaz to "from 1 year to university" at La Moraleja. The group's site is colegiobrains.com.

What this means for this school. The network owns or operates the school. Its accreditation and programme authorisation the school obtains separately, in its own name.

Exams and destinations from the school's official website

The school publishes nothing about where its leavers go: no share going on to university, no exam results, no list of universities.

Campus: The school has its own heated swimming pool with salt chlorination - it stresses that the system is not chlorine-based in the usual sense - and in it run swimming lessons for pupils, sessions for families, and a swimming school for people from outside: infant swimming, private, shared and group classes, intensive courses, aquagym and pre-natal classes. The school publishes its dining menu and school bus routes as separate files. There is a shop of its own selling uniforms and school supplies, located inside the group's La Moraleja school.
Clubs and activities (11): Swimming · Basketball · Judo · Music school · Art school · Ballet · Chess · Theatre in English · After-school English and Spanish · Multisensory stimulation · Chinese
Summer camp: the school runs its own camp; whether it takes children from outside is not stated on the website
In summer the school runs Summer Camp Brains Orgaz for children from one to eight - four weeks of English and fun; in spring there is an Easter Camp with arts and sports activities in English. The group's other summer programmes, from sports camps to trips to Canada and Ireland, run on the La Moraleja campus. The general camps page gives no prices or exact dates for the Orgaz camp.

Teaching staff

The school publishes neither the number of its teachers nor their qualifications.

Safety and wellbeing from the school's official website

The school says nothing on its website about security, medical care or pupil support.

Reviews

No reviews yet. The community rating counts towards the score once a school has five verified reviews - until then we do not show a zero, so as not to mislead.

"Scored on disclosed data" stands where we count only what the school has written about itself on its own site: exams and destinations, safety and wellbeing, teaching staff, facilities, clubs and activities. A low score here means the school does not write about this, not that the school does not have it: a school with good security and a sparse site will score low. A school can fill in its profile, and the score will be counted again.
The score is counted from 8 of the 9 criteria.Only those with checkable data count: programmes and accreditations from official registers, the fee from a published price list. Where it says "scored on the median", the school has no data and the middle of the list is put in its place, so that a gap gives no advantage. Admissions, teaching staff and reviews come in as their data arrives. The full methodology →
