Colegio CEU San Pablo Sevilla stands not in Seville itself but in Bormujos, on the CEU Andalucía campus, and belongs to the CEU network of schools: it is run by the Fundación San Pablo Andalucía CEU, and the network goes back to the Asociación Católica de Propagandistas, founded in 1933. It is a private Catholic bilingual school - Spanish and English - from a class for two-year-olds to the bachillerato. In the upper years there is a choice of the Spanish bachillerato, the bilingual IB Diploma Programme and the American Dual diploma. The school certifies English through Cambridge exams, for which it is itself an exam centre: from Starters in the second year of primary to Advanced (C1) in the final year; preparation is led by native speakers three times a week. In the 2025 PAU university entrance exams every pupil passed, with an average access mark of 8.262 out of 10. The school runs the MENTIS mental health programme, the JUNTOS coexistence programme and the CUÍDAME child protection programme, a medical room with a nurse for the whole school day and a guidance department. The campus is large: two indoor halls, padel and tennis courts, football pitches, laboratories, two libraries and a canteen with its own kitchen. The school does not publish its fees.

Admissions Admission goes in four stages: a request for information through the form, by telephone or by email; an online interview - from the first year of ESO both parents and the pupil take part; the application and reservation of a place by email, and for pupils entering ESO or above the school first confirms admission and only then processes the reservation; and formal enrolment with documents. The school publishes no entrance tests, deadlines or list of documents. It names no conditions for children from other countries.
Stages and year groups Grades class for two-year-olds - 2nd year of bachillerato, to age 18. Stages: pre-school from the class for two-year-olds and from 3 to 6, primary school, compulsory secondary ESO and the bachillerato. There are three kinds of bachillerato: the school's own CEU bachillerato, the bilingual IB Diploma Programme - for ages 16-19, three subjects at higher level and three at standard level - and the American Dual diploma. Preparation for Cambridge exams starts in the first year of primary.

What stands behind each entry

IBInternational Baccalaureate

A Swiss non-profit, working since 1968. Its programmes are among the most widely recognised school programmes in the world. Authorisation is granted stage by stage, so a school with the final stage does not necessarily run the younger ones; which stages this school holds is set out in the line below.

What the badge means for this school. The school is allowed to run this programme and to award its certificate. This is a confirmation of the programme, not a judgement on the school as a whole. The entry stands in the organisation's public register - anyone can check it. At this school: DP (ages 16-19). DP is the final stage, ages 16 to 19: six subjects plus a compulsory core of theory of knowledge, an extended essay and CAS. The diploma is accepted by universities all over the world, and in a number of countries it counts for admission on the same footing as the local leaving certificate.

Colegios CEUschool network

Colegios CEU is the school network of the Fundación Universitaria San Pablo CEU, a non-profit foundation set up in 1933 by the Asociación Católica de Propagandistas (ACdP). According to the foundation, it runs 25 educational centres - from early years to postgraduate study and vocational training - in twelve Spanish cities. The CEU schools page lists ten schools: three in Madrid (Claudio Coello, Montepríncipe and Sanchinarro), one each in Murcia (Molina de Segura), Alicante, Vitoria, Valencia and Seville, and two in Barcelona under the Abat Oliba name (Loreto and Spínola). Some of the schools are private and some are state-funded under agreement (concertado). The network's site is ceu.es.

What this means for this school. The network owns or operates the school. Its accreditation and programme authorisation the school obtains separately, in its own name.

"Scored on disclosed data" stands where we count only what the school has written about itself on its own site: exams and destinations, safety and wellbeing, teaching staff, facilities, clubs and activities. A low score here means the school does not write about this, not that the school does not have it: a school with good security and a sparse site will score low. A school can fill in its profile, and the score will be counted again.
The score is counted from 7 of the 9 criteria.Only those with checkable data count: programmes and accreditations from official registers, the fee from a published price list. Where it says "scored on the median", the school has no data and the middle of the list is put in its place, so that a gap gives no advantage. Admissions, teaching staff and reviews come in as their data arrives. The full methodology →
