Global Indian International School Abu Dhabi is an Indian school in Baniyas East, behind the Lulu hypermarket, and belongs to the Singapore-based Global Schools Group. The main thing a parent needs to know: this is the cheapest school in this batch - from 11,540 to 13,650 dirhams a year - a price unusual for the Emirates; on top of the fee there are only the registration charge, books, uniform and the bus.

About the fees The 2026-27 annual fee, approved by the Abu Dhabi education authority: 11,540 dirhams for kindergarten, rising by grade to 13,650 in grade 12; for grades 1 to 12 the fee sits between 11,870 and 13,650 dirhams. Kindergarten is set out line by line in the table: three terms of 3,462, 4,616 and 3,462 dirhams, books 600 and uniform 730. It is paid across three terms. On top of the fee: a registration charge of 500 dirhams credited against the second term's tuition, uniform at 730 dirhams a year including VAT, books separately and the bus at 5,000 dirhams a year. The Asset exam fee for grades 3 to 9 is included in tuition. The school offers scholarships for academic achievement.
Admissions The school year begins in April and the school accepts students throughout the year where seats are available. The application goes through the form on the website or through the admissions office; the admissions team begins reviewing applications for the new year each January. A meeting with an admissions counsellor can be booked, in person or online. The school names no entrance tests, no grade requirements and no entry age on the pages we read.

Global Schools Group (GSG) is a Singapore school group; its own site globalschools.com says «a leading international education organisation with 64 campuses across 11 countries» (Locations page) and «64 International campuses» on the homepage, dates itself from 2002 («From our beginnings in 2002»), and its homepage counters render «0» and «0 k», so the student figures there are not filled in. On the site of its Indian brand GIIS (globalindianschool.org) the same group prints «64 Campuses», «11 Countries», «45k Students», «5k+ Faculty» and the wording of belonging - «We are a proud member of the Global Schools Group (GSG)». Country counts disagree inside the network: the page of the Dubai GIIS campus (globalindianschool.org/dubai/about) says «seven countries throughout Asia» and dates the group with the same phrase, «Since its inception in 2002». The roster disagrees too: the campus list on globalschools.com/locations names only two schools in the UAE - Emirates American School and Glendale International School - while the Dubai GIIS campus, which has its own pages on a site of the same group, is not in that list. Neither ownership nor management is stated anywhere: the schools' relation to the group is described by the word «member».
