Prezidento Valdo Adamkaus gimnazija is a public gymnasium of Kaunas City Municipality in the Aleksotas district, registered on 3 April 1995. It covers all three stages of general education - primary, basic and secondary - that is, grades 1 through 12. The gymnasium is Erasmus+ accredited, partners with Vytautas Magnus University (VDU) so students can take university-level classes, and runs environmental and STEM programmes with integrated learning. It has a library, a canteen, a school bus and a sports field. Kaunas city council is building the gymnasium a new 7700-square-metre building with a separate gym for the primary grades.
