The Lisbon campus of Prime School, which has worked since 2003. The school takes children from 3 to A Level on the international Cambridge pathway with external examinations: Early Years 3-5, Primary 5-11, Lower Secondary 11-14, IGCSE 14-16 and A Level 16-18. Lessons run in English, and the school names English as its language of instruction, building its teaching on a British approach; a bilingual English and Portuguese programme exists only at its Sintra campus. More than 51 pupil nationalities are enrolled, classes hold no more than 15 pupils, and every class has its own form tutor. The Lisbon campus has the school's only boarding provision. On campus there is a swimming pool, science laboratories, a library and study centre, an arts and design studio, a computing and ICT suite and sports grounds; the Estoril campus has a flight simulator. Of the 2024 leavers 95 percent went to their first-choice university, and its alumni study in more than 30 countries.

Admissions The school takes children from 3 up to A Level and keeps itself open to families of many nationalities: it counts more than 51 of them and describes itself as an international community in which a family can belong. Pre-enrolment can be done at any time, and enrolment is completed no later than one month before lessons begin. The school announces no entrance examination. The registration, capital levy and insurance fees are payable on registration or re-registration and are non-refundable whatever the circumstances; if the first term's fees are not settled on time the place is lost and the invoiced amounts remain payable.
