The Anatolian high school on the Marmaris campus is one of the schools of Izmir Ozel Turk Koleji and stands in Beldibi outside Marmaris, at some distance from the town centre. The campus opened in the 2013-2014 academic year and covers 14,000 square metres of gardens, green grounds, a play area and sports halls. Besides the high school the campus holds a kindergarten, a primary school and a middle school. The high school has a building of its own, with a 648 square metre open multi-purpose court behind it and its own outdoor areas. University preparation runs from grade nine with mock exams, study sessions and one-to-one counselling, together with career choice programmes, career introduction days and job shadowing. The high school has an FCL classroom, a chess room and physics and chemistry laboratories, and teaching is supported by foreign language work. The school belongs to the Izmir Ozel Turk Koleji group of institutions, with campuses in Izmir, Manisa and Marmaris.

Admissions A parent books an interview and the admissions commission first judges how ready the child is for the school and for the grade applied for, looking at the specialist interview notes, the parent information forms and the child's level in the core subjects. Kindergarten takes children from twenty-four months, and six-year-olds sit a primary readiness test. If the child's level does not match the grade, a move up or down is decided by the parent, the school psychologist and the school principals together. Cases the rules do not cover are decided in writing by the board of principals of Ozel Turk Koleji on the principal's proposal.
Stages and year groups Grades 9-12. The Anatolian high school admits students after middle school and teaches them to the final grade. It is one of four schools on the campus, alongside a kindergarten, a primary school and a middle school, and it has a separate building. University preparation starts in grade nine, English is the main foreign language, and German, French or Spanish is offered as a second language from the preparatory level.

An American organisation that allows a school to put the letters AP on a pupil's transcript. The permission is granted course by course and tied to a particular teacher, it has to be renewed every year, and College Board reads the course syllabus before granting it.

Advanced Placement: American advanced courses for the senior years. The exam for a course is set and marked by the College Board, not by the school. A good result is counted by American universities as a first-year course already passed, which saves a student time and money.
What this means for this school. A school does not get to call a course AP automatically: the College Board reads the course syllabus and approves it separately for every subject and every teacher, and the permission has to be renewed each year. Every approved school in the world is listed in the open AP Course Ledger, and this school's entry there stands as a line in the accreditation block above. National programme

İzmir Özel Türk Kolejischool network
An Izmir college, opened on 15 November 1950 by the mathematics teacher Bahattin Tatış in house number 23 on Talatpaşa Boulevard; the site names no foundation, holding or managing company above the schools - the college runs itself. Five campuses: three in Izmir - Bahattin Tatış, Büyükçiğli and Bornova, - and one each in Marmaris, opened in 2013, and Manisa, opened in 2016. On each campus there are a kindergarten, primary and middle schools and high schools, Anadolu and Fen. Of itself the college writes as one of the leading institutions not only of the Aegean region but of Turkey, and counts its experience as seventy-six years.
