Casvi Boadilla is a school of the Casvi education group in Boadilla del Monte outside Madrid, opened in 2005 as a continuation of Eurocolegio Casvi in Villaviciosa de Odón; the group itself was founded in 1985 by Juan Yagüe Sevillano after more than twenty years in education. The school started with seven hundred pupils in preschool and primary, completed the cycle up to the second year of the baccalaureate over seven years, and now states around 1800 pupils and 140 teachers. It builds its international side on the IB: an IB World School since 2019, with authorisation for the Primary Years Programme after a process begun in December 2015, and authorisation for the Middle Years Programme since 2020. The school treats its teaching staff as its foundation and gives a figure: 85 per cent of the teachers who started in 2005 are still there. Of its results it publishes one - a hundred per cent pass rate in the EvAU, the Spanish university entrance examination. It has a charitable strand of its own: the Casvi Foundation since 2006, a three-storey vocational training centre built with school money in Piura, Peru, and a canteen attached to it feeding a hundred and forty people a day. The main thing a parent needs to know: the school does not name the IB Diploma Programme on its pages - at the senior stage it runs the Spanish baccalaureate - and it publishes no fees.

Admissions The school starts admission with a form on the admissions page or with a call or email to the school; on that page it does not set out stages, deadlines, tests or a list of documents. On its page for families the school publishes the free places for the 2026-2027 school year: 100 places in the first year of the second preschool cycle (age 3) and 7 places in the second (age 4). The school calls itself concertado, that is private with state funding. It names no separate conditions for children from abroad.
Stages and year groups The cycle runs from preschool to the second year of the baccalaureate: the school opened in 2005 with only preschool and primary and completed the senior stages over seven years. The IB programmes are distributed thus: the Primary Years Programme since 2019, the Middle Years Programme since 2020. The school gives no exact age grid on the pages read.

What stands behind each entry

IBInternational Baccalaureate

A Swiss non-profit, working since 1968. Its programmes are among the most widely recognised school programmes in the world. Authorisation is granted stage by stage, so a school with the final stage does not necessarily run the younger ones; which stages this school holds is set out in the line below.

What the badge means for this school. The school is allowed to run this programme and to award its certificate. This is a confirmation of the programme, not a judgement on the school as a whole. The entry stands in the organisation's public register - anyone can check it. At this school: PYP (ages 3-12), MYP (ages 11-16). PYP is the primary stage, ages 3 to 12. It is not a set of subjects but a frame for the whole school: learning is built around lines of inquiry, and there are no exams at the end. MYP is the middle stage, ages 11 to 16. There are no exams here either; at the end an optional electronic assessment of pupils' work is possible.

Exams and destinations from the school's official website

The school publishes nothing about where its leavers go: no share going on to university, no exam results, no list of universities.

Facilities

The school does not describe its premises on its website.
Summer programme away from campus: . The school runs no camp of its own on campus
The school has two summer camps, and both are open to its own pupils and to children from other schools. The urban camp runs in July, in turn at the Casvi schools in Boadilla and Villaviciosa, is built on the basics of the IB method, with English immersion, robotics, dance, music, sport, water games and a trip once a fortnight; the theme is "Superheroes versus villains". The residential CasviCamp 2026 runs from 1 to 15 July at the Casvi nature centre in Arenas de San Pedro (Ávila) for children from 6 to 13, with full English immersion and instructors with a C1 level: bike routes, climbing, cultural excursions, a water mat, paddle surfing, night-time evenings and horse riding. The school names no prices; payment for the residential camp can be split into instalments.

The teachers have had the necessary IB training, and the school writes that it rebuilt its infrastructure for the programmes. "Scored on disclosed data" stands where we count only what the school has written about itself on its own site: exams and destinations, safety and wellbeing, teaching staff, facilities, clubs and activities. A low score here means the school does not write about this, not that the school does not have it: a school with good security and a sparse site will score low. A school can fill in its profile, and the score will be counted again.
The score is counted from 7 of the 9 criteria.Only those with checkable data count: programmes and accreditations from official registers, the fee from a published price list. Where it says "scored on the median", the school has no data and the middle of the list is put in its place, so that a gap gives no advantage. Admissions, teaching staff and reviews come in as their data arrives. The full methodology →
