Colegio del Salvador is a Jesuit school in Zaragoza, and its IB is arranged the way it most often is in long-established Spanish private schools: only the diploma programme is authorised, and at the upper stage sections of the national Bachillerato run alongside international ones, with the family choosing between them. The school has set up a separate domain of its own for the diploma programme - bachilleratointernacionalzaragoza.es - where it explains what the diploma gives and gathers parents for meetings by registration; coordination runs through the coordib@ address on the school's main domain. The school's operator is the Fundación Educativa Jesuitas Centro Este, the order's educational foundation, which runs schools in several cities. The school is state-funded: admission goes through the general process of the Government of Aragon. Judging by all its pages for families, lessons are in Spanish; English is the first foreign language, and in primary French or German is taught as the second.

Admissions Admission of new pupils to Infantil, Primaria and ESO goes through the general process of the Education Department of the Government of Aragon: applications are made on its portal, on a common calendar. For 2026-2027 the school published it as follows: 15 April - offer of places, 16 to 22 April - applications, 4 May - scored lists, 11 May - provisional lists of those admitted, 15 May - final lists, 26 May to 1 June - enrolment of new Infantil and first-year Primaria pupils, 19 to 25 June - second to sixth year of Primaria and ESO. Before that the school holds open days by booking - dozens of sessions in February-April for Infantil and a separate meeting for ESO. For the bachillerato, including the IB Diploma Programme, the school invites parents to meetings on the programme's own website. The school does not write about foreigners or citizenship as a condition of entry.
Stages and year groups The diploma programme runs over the two years of the upper stage: the school writes that its Bachillerato years have both national and international sections. The domain read gives no full list of the school's stages or their ages - it is entirely about the diploma programme.

IBInternational Baccalaureate
A Swiss non-profit, working since 1968. Its programmes are among the most widely recognised school programmes in the world. Authorisation is granted stage by stage, so a school with the final stage does not necessarily run the younger ones; which stages this school holds is set out in the line below.
What the badge means for this school. The school is allowed to run this programme and to award its certificate. This is a confirmation of the programme, not a judgement on the school as a whole. The entry stands in the organisation's public register - anyone can check it. At this school: DP (ages 16-19). DP is the final stage, ages 16 to 19: six subjects plus a compulsory core of theory of knowledge, an extended essay and CAS. The diploma is accepted by universities all over the world, and in a number of countries it counts for admission on the same footing as the local leaving certificate.

The name Fundación Educativa Jesuitas (FEJE) covers three regional foundations of the Society of Jesus set up in 2023: FEJE Noroeste (10 schools in Galicia, Asturias and Castile and León), FEJE Norte (8 schools in Cantabria, the Basque Country, Navarre and La Rioja) and FEJE Centro-Este (9 schools in Aragon, Madrid, the Valencian Community and the Balearic Islands). They belong to the wider network of Jesuit schools in Spain, Educación Jesuitas (Educsi), together with the SAFA, Loyola, Fundació Jesuïtes Educació and Radio ECCA foundations. Educsi gives different figures for the whole network on its own pages - 70 centres on one, 69 in-person centres on another - and we quote both; the same pages cite more than 80,000 in-person students and almost 40,000 in distance learning. All the schools are co-educational, and each has at least some stages state-funded under agreement. The network's site is educacionjesuitas.org, and the regional foundations have their own sites, such as fejenorte.com and fejecentroeste.com.
What this means for this school. The network owns or operates the school. Its accreditation and programme authorisation the school obtains separately, in its own name.

Reviews
No reviews yet. The community rating counts towards the score once a school has five verified reviews - until then we do not show a zero, so as not to mislead.

A low score here means the school does not write about this, not that the school does not have it: a school with good security and a sparse site will score low. A school can fill in its profile, and the score will be counted again.
The score is counted from 7 of the 9 criteria.Only those with checkable data count: programmes and accreditations from official registers, the fee from a published price list. Where it says "scored on the median", the school has no data and the middle of the list is put in its place, so that a gap gives no advantage. Admissions, teaching staff and reviews come in as their data arrives.
