Colégio Guadalupe stands in Corroios, in the Aroeira pine forest, on Rua Parque Natural do Alvão. The school was opened in 2000 by the children of the teacher Maria de Guadalupe, who died in 1998, and named in her honour; Maria de Guadalupe had earlier founded the D. Henrique and Novo Dia schools. The college runs every stage: pre-school from the age of three, the first, second and third cycles and secondary education up to Grade 12. There are two pathways. The Portuguese national curriculum runs from Grade 1 to Grade 12. The second pathway is Double Certification: the Portuguese national curriculum aligned with the Cambridge Pathway, with subjects matched across both curricula, part of the teaching in Portuguese and part in English, and a leaver receiving both the national certificate and an international certificate from Cambridge Assessment International Education - the AICE Diploma. The pre-school stage, ages 3 to 5, follows Cambridge Pathway Stage 1. Secondary education has four tracks: Science and Technology, Socio-Economic Sciences, Languages and Humanities, and the new Visual Arts track. A compulsory Grade 12 subject is Skills and Careers, covering entrepreneurship, creativity, collaboration, emotional intelligence, autonomy and resilience. Study Labs run every day from 13:10 to 14:50 - sessions of academic support and study skills. Lessons are in Portuguese and English: the school's site is kept in Portuguese, the base of the curriculum is the Portuguese national one, and on the Double Certification pathway the school states teaching in both Portuguese and English. English is named as a separate subject - Foreign Language I, II or III; Portuguese is compulsory as a subject alongside it. The college runs a Psychology, Guidance and Counselling Service and a Family Support programme. There is a library with its own ten minutes of reading programme, sports facilities and the Guadalupe Arts Centre; the college takes part in Erasmus+, in school sport and in the CanSat project.

Admissions Admission goes by availability of places, and the college sets the number of places separately for each academic year and each year group. The route is: request information through a form, visit the college, complete pre-enrolment through an online form, then submit documents - the college confirms the child's eligibility for the year group and invites the family to an interview - and finally confirm enrolment with payment of the fee. Where there are fewer places than applicants, children of the college's staff come first by length of service, and the rest follow in the order their pre-enrolment was submitted.
