Royal Russell School Vilnius presents itself as a school opened in Vilnius by the British Royal Russell School (South Croydon, near London): the site describes this as "Royal Russell has opened its doors to Lithuanian and foreign students in Vilnius", and the school's expansion page states directly that the Vilnius school is "backed by the prestigious Royal Russell School in London". The site does not, however, name a separate Lithuanian legal entity or a franchise agreement; the only formula given is "Authorised to Deliver the English National Curriculum in Lithuania". One staff member's profile states she has been part of the Royal Russell School Vilnius team since 2021, the only indication found of when the Vilnius school actually began operating. The school follows the English National Curriculum from kindergarten to school-leaving, for children aged 1.5 to 18: kindergarten (1.5-5 years), junior school (5-11 years) and senior school (11-18 years), split into Primary, Secondary and Sixth Form under the English Key Stage system. Teaching is entirely in English by British-qualified staff; Lithuanian is taught as a separate subject. From 2 September 2026 a building extension opens with new chemistry, art and music classrooms. Separately, a bigger development has been announced: from 1 September 2027 the school will open Vilnius's first full British boarding facility, with dormitories and four pupil "houses" (a house system) named Buckingham, Westminster, Trakai and Gediminas, two names kept from London and two Lithuanised. As things stand (the 2026/2027 school year) the school operates as a day school, with no boarding yet. A full staff list of more than 25 teachers with qualifications is published; among them is a registered nurse (Jacqueline Bills, Early Years Lead, a registered nurse with more than 20 years' experience), and teachers from the UK, Ireland, the USA, Spain, Turkey, Ecuador, Iran and other countries. The school runs regular holiday camps (an autumn camp, a summer camp in Vilnius, and a summer camp and English-language summer school in London at the parent school).

About the fees Annual fees rise with the child's age. Kindergarten (ages 1-3) is 9720 euro a year (690 euro a month with a municipality discount, 810 euro a month without it). Reception (age 4) is 10440 euro a year. Primary school (Years 1-6, ages 5-10) is 11900 euro a year, with a 5% discount for full upfront payment (11305 euro, non-refundable). Secondary school (Years 7-9, ages 11-13) is 14500 euro a year (13775 euro upfront). The GCSE stage (Years 10-11, ages 14-15) is 15300 euro a year (14535 euro upfront). Sixth Form (Years 12-13, ages 16-17) is 15900 euro a year (15105 euro upfront). A separate one-off non-refundable entrance fee applies: 500 euro for kindergarten, 1000 euro for Reception and Junior School, 1500 euro for Secondary and Senior School. Fees include stationery and learning materials but exclude uniform, excursions, the school bus and meals.
Admissions The site states no direct citizenship restriction. Admission to the senior school requires maths and English test papers plus an in-person or online interview; for other stages there is an individual family interview and an assessment of the child's maturity and knowledge. Required documents include a child health certificate.

Part of the University of Cambridge. It allows a school to teach the Cambridge programmes and to enter pupils for the exams. There are four stages and they are authorised separately: primary, lower secondary, IGCSE and A Level. If the stages are known they are named in the line below; if that line is missing, the school does not publish them, and the Cambridge registry does not show stages either - it gives only the name of the centre, the country and whether private candidates are accepted.
