AISV, the oldest international school in Vilnius, has operated since 1993 and graduated its first class in 2011. It runs on two campuses: the Lower School near the Botanical Garden for early years and primary students, and the Upper School on a hill overlooking the Old Town for middle and senior grades. Teaching is entirely in English on the American model, with the International Baccalaureate Diploma Programme in the last two grades. The school enrolls children of more than 30 nationalities, with families from 14 foreign embassies represented. Its mission centers on connection, inspiration and empowerment, and its values are empathy, openness, curiosity, responsibility and perseverance.

About the fees Annual tuition rises by level: 9292 for the early years programme (ages 2 to 4; the admissions page separately states a minimum entry age of 18 months), 20164 in the primary school (Kindergarten through Grade 5), 21908 in Grades 6 to 8, 23584 in Grades 9 to 10, and 24349 in Grades 11 to 12. Separate one-time fees apply: a 428 application fee, a 2707 admission fee, an annual 2498 capital fee for campus development and teacher training, and a placement deposit of 1000 (early years) or 2500 (K to 12). Extended day care for early years and primary students costs 1071 a year, and IB examination fees are billed separately: 92 per subject, 70 for the Extended Essay, 36 for TOK, 8 for CAS.
Admissions The school states no citizenship restriction: it admits regardless of background, sex, religion or physical ability. The main requirement is age-appropriate English proficiency; for children with weaker English, decisions are made individually after contacting the admissions office. Admission runs year-round subject to space, based on academic records, behavioral history and the enrollment process.

A Swiss non-profit, working since 1968. Its programmes are among the most widely recognised school programmes in the world.
